His knowledge is limited to afew phrases, he always stumbles with anything more complex than a beach vendor at Canary isles would know
I also wonder how realistic it would even be to try learning that many languages at once. I already feel like my brain is getting scrambled with Russian and Japanese, and then when I try remembering some German that I learned back in high school a decade ago, I just have no idea about the right sentence structure anymore. And grinding the Anki decks has just resulted in Japanese words popping into my mind when I see a word sometimes. Earlier I read the word "interval" and then for no reason my brain translated it into 間
I also wanted to try learning some Arabic, it seems simple enough like "maybe I'll check out some of it on Duolingo or something", but I don't even dare to start that yet
Are French and Italian really that similar? I get Spanish, but French always sounded very different to me. Of course I don't really know anything about either of those languages
no, I said italian because the post i was quoting mentioned 2 separate languages then the first language again, so i did the same
Oh, my bad. I thought Cantonese and Mandarin are more close
then english dude was right to quote him, hong kongese, like seriously, but french and italian are kinda similar in a lot of aspects but it sounds very differently
>just fucking epic
