so it's not comparable at all. our neighbours are highly functional, czech & slovaks for example build our cars for us while their countries are getting better and better. unlike africans and anything to the south of you we are surrounded by hard-working countries with similar cultures

No actually our infrastructure has been crumbling since the 90's and there has been a lot of talks about creating another New Deal type scenario depending on how long this quarantine lasts and whether or not our economy can bounce back. Our life expectancy has been declining along with it.
