Because college is extremely expensive in your country which acts as a barrier against poorer students. Only the richest of the richest foreigners study at British universities.

I once met a Chinese student in a bar and had a few beers with him, after a while I asked him if it's true that China is authoritarian and he started getting angry and insulted Germany and the West

It's because they're literally NPCs. There's this one video by youtuber serpentza where explains that Chinese can't put themselves in another person's mindset/place/position. They can only view things like a chink. So while us Westerners can have a Chinese friend and be like "oh you do that stuff for your New Year's, alright I get it, I can do that thing with you", the chinksects can't do the opposite. They think only whatever is Chinese tradition or culture (implying they have any) is the right way to do things, so they don't give a flying fuck about anything anywhere else. to be fair, its probably largely because very few westerner go to asia to study so we don't see the reverse, which i'm sure would happen(western students in asia hanging out with western students). But atleast as of now there is no reason to study in asia except for language really and if thats why you're there you should probably hang out with locals

The international students we had were broken down in threeain groups Arabs ( mostly from UAE and saudi arabai), African ( Nigeria and Ghana ) and Asian ( chinese, Hong Kong, Taiwan)

The Arab and African international students were always cool and trying to make Freinds whereas the Asian ones didn't

I mean yea and no, people still make friends and are friendly but like in terms of marriages sure for the majority, but we do have ethnic minorities that are based off intermarriages between races.
