It's strange, but judging by webtoons, Chinese fantasy imagery looks really awful and cringeworthy, while the Japanese equivalent found in manga looks ok. But I guess it's just a case of first come first served, in a sense that people tend to find the first thing they are exposed to more appealing than those that come after it. If non-Asians would have gotten massively exposed to Chinese imagery before getting exposed to Japan's, I guess that people would end up finding it more appealing than weebshit.

man i wish warhammer was like shogun 2
currently playing warhammer 2 and the battles just feel like stat competitions
in shogun 2 i used to go through the campaigns with armies weaker than the enemies and won because of strategy, but right now in warhammer 2 the battles end with a lot of causalities and once the armies collide it just turns into a huge mess where moving units, changing targets and strategy just plays to your disadvantage

to be honest i started like 2 days ago and am not that familiar with the game, but so far every battle (even the minor ones) end up feeling like a complete mess

I really enjoyed Three Kingdoms. Probably best campaign mechanics in total war series. Also it is strategy game where diplomacy works and AI is willing to engage in it (which is extremely rare)

This had the most boring map ever. Just one giant landmass. Previous total wars had several peninsulas and an island with the mediterranean separating them. Much better.
