Are these the 2016 2.0 elections ?
Chances of Winning: Biden: 76.3% Trump: 23.3% Tie: 0.4%
Probably
The message the DNC is selling is the same as 2016, they lost then, they'll lose now
>Georgia
Wait what the fuck this can't be right?
>ohio and florida are the only 2 states that matter
>AGAIN
imagine letting your country's future be decide by fucking florida
Niggers love biden for being Obama's friend.
Hope trump gets assassinated
imagine letting your country's future be decide by cubans
>Fixed
It will honestly depend how much Obama campaigns for him that’s the only way I see him taking it
Why is it that people voting in certain states have virtually no say in what candidate is getting elected because they always vote for the same person anyways. The electoral college was a mistake.
>florida man elects demented man as president
>Let California, NY and Illinois rule your country
Bro...
>Let the person with the most votes win
Bro...
Which one?
Clinton had a 98% chance of winning
Honestly, yes
Not because I resent that guy and want him to die
But could you imagine the sheer media rollercoaster?
Shit would be cash
Fix Canada's elections first
Canada's election system is pretty shit as well, but at least they have a reason to have the system. The US is a 2 state country and the federal elections are only to decide the president, not to elect any representatives, so they have no reason to use the electoral college.
>Chances of Winning: Trump: 76.3% Trump: 23.3% Biden: 0.4%
I will not lie to you, I do not know why the electoral college exists, but surely it is not a whim, I suppose that it gives value to the States that would be subject to more powerful others.
More like Florida, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
Trump won in 2016 because of these.
That's because pollsters were retarded enough to use national polls to assess the election. Clinton won the popular vote by millions, but lost key states.
Exactly
>not to elect any representatives
I am confused, we elect our senators and House representatives as well.
Nope, most polls said that Hillary would win swing states and even tie red states
Liberals didn't a majority. They still need other party seats to stay in power.
if you could have an absolute majority with only 33% of the votes it would be worrying
Not everyone knows congress has elections every 2 years. In canada, we only vote for MPs once every 4 years. Those MPs decide the PM. The US directly votes for the president, which is separate from choosing local politicians. Yet it complies with the electoral college, instead of just popular vote which is extremely retarded
Ohioans are the most powerful people on Earth.
that really weirded my out when i heard it first.
If you dont live in a swing state your vote is basically worthless
>New Hamsphire or Maine going blue when Beto is Biden's gun control expert
not a chance
Literally in a general election your vote is worthless and I'm not talking about America
CHI
My only relationship with the United States is some distant uncles that I don't even talk to, and on top of that they support Obama and are anti-trump kek
Him dying of a heart attack or stroke is much more likely.
R2D2 > JOE3003303
I highly doubt Biden will win. They blew all their ammo against Trump in 2016, and they've spent all their time since on Russiagate and impeachment drama, which only made people like him more. Meanwhile, Biden has half a century of dirt that hasn't been properly exhausted yet because the Democrats demand "civil maturity" during primaries. Videos of him sniffing kids, a rape accusation people are trying to hide, NAFTA, bussing, hatred of social security, being responsible for the "kids in cages", Anita Hill, bankruptcy bill... not to mention a lot of purple states will go red just from single issue voters who hate Beto O'Rourke's guts. And even though Trump is squandering the coronavirus response and economy, he's selling himself as a wartime president, and people will vote for that regardless of how badly he fucks it up.
I don't think it'll be a Reagan 84 tier blowout but I don't think Joe will do well at all.
He won the 2016 election by 80,000 votes in three states. The question is whether Joe Biden will be a worse candidate than Hillary Clinton in PA, MI, and WI.
Brazilians*
Millions of us there.
wisconsin here
trump is going to win 99%
Biden will crush Trump easily lol
>national polling
lol
Nope :)
tell it to cnn and all the pollsters
:)
Because he won Wisconsin (by 22, 000 votes) he didn't necessarily need Florida to win
Oh so like last election where Trump had no chance again.
I miss him bros
Are you serious?
still remember 2016 election when all of Yas Forums was peak doomer and ironic Clinton smugposting
then he won
welp, if Biden gets elected, we'll be getting Anti-Christ soon
>6 point national lead
>lol
lol
now show hillary vs trump at this point in 2016, once debates come around things will change quickly
>The question is whether Joe Biden will be a worse candidate than Hillary Clinton in PA, MI, and WI.
The thing Biden at least has going for him is that his personality isn't as repulsive
Clinton really had anti-charisma, while Biden at least inspires some goodwill
>Unironically believe in polls in 2020
lol
what about that is surprising?
Biden is a pedophile and has dementia, if he inspires some goodwill to you I'm worried about you
nah I doubt it. Biden is running on being the stable man to replace the crazy leader, but he himself is literally mentally deranged. This Corona shit has been going well enough and the majority of Americans think he's doing a good job on that.
On the other hand women may not turn out for him as much, so its a catch 22 situation that also depends on the economy/virus. Trumptards who are saying its going to be a #MAGAslide when chances are its going to be close even in states like Arizona, are starting to remind me of Hillary supporters in 2016 though.
>democrat favored in democratic state
Not sure what your point is. Also lets revisit Clinton's numbers.
all within margin of error
popular vote is retarded. At least the electoral college gives some degree of equality or fairness in the election for every STATE. Fuck the plebs, their choice doesn't matter.
Swing states change, dumbass
I think the people saying it's 100% over for Biden are being dumb, given how Biden doesn't have the mountains of crap that Hillary accumulated, a stronger sense of desperation against Trump, and the anti-Trump vote that will matter more than enthusiasm for Biden. He's also polling decently well in the swing states that Dems need to take back, but of course, it's far too early and the margin for error still makes it a coin toss essentially.
The difference is this time around Biden has less personal scandals than Hillary and Trumps handling of the Coronavirus is going to disproportionately impact his base. Also Hillary only lost by a tiny margin in a handful of states. So there’s a much higher chance the democrats win this time around.
FL and OH are almost always swing states though
Can tell you as a PAfag that I would rather vote for Trump than Biden, even as a registered Democrat.
Democrats never learn, don't they?
>The difference is this time around Biden has less personal scandals than Hillary
Half his family doing illicit business in Ukraine and China, constantly touching underage girls, rape accusations, and barely being coherent / aware half the time?
Biden speaks english worse than Hollande did.
Sarkozy*
I meant to the common people, which are dumb as rocks
Obviously I am aware that Biden is an awful choice
But darkies clearly forgive/aren't aware of his sins, so that gives him some advantage over Clinton and Trump
I dont vote
Unlike Canada or France the US is a union of States. We can't have complete popular vote since that would undermine the role of the states
So instead we have a winner takes all for each states delegates so the matter of winning states is more important than winning cities
oh yeah cause the polls have never been wrong before
I don't even like Trump and I'm a registered democrat but Biden really comes off like he has severe brain damage. I think I would prefer another 4 years of Trump to him.
It's like 2016 all over again
>Trumptards who are saying its going to be a #MAGAslide
It suprises me that they are that oblivious to the poor approval of Trump
The guy barely won the election and then got through his term having to fight every inch, and survived not through great policies (which were not as bad as people might want you to believe but that's another story) but because the Republican party did everything they could to cover his ass
How they handled the impeachment procedure almost reeks of outright corruption.
Only Romney said: hey instead of blocking this, and thwart every part of the procedure as much as we can, maybe we should just let him defend himself?
Ah you are right, I think this occur in blacks brains when they decide who votes (not racist):
Biden was Obama's VP = vote Biden
They are so brainwashed in general
We all understand that but things have changed and states aren't little enclaves anymore their economies are, in most cases, fully integrated with the economies of other states and with countries. As time goes on they simply become administrative regions instead of autonomous entities.
>approval ratings from corporate national polls mean anything when it comes to elections
I guess you never heard of George W. Bush. Or watched the last election for that matter. Or realize that presidents almost never just get 1 term anymore, especially not wartime presidents (which he in effect is by virtue of the pandemic)
Happens in most people really
Look at Evangelists voting for Trump, while is about as far removed from a God-fearing and humble person
And in other countries as well obviously
>George W. Bush.
Didn't Dubya have a pretty solid approval rating at his re-election? 9/11 was not that long ago back then, and Iraq wasn't the awful quagmire yet that it is now
I'll grant you that those polls do mean quite little
