This is an average American house. What does an average house look like in your country?
This is an average American house. What does an average house look like in your country?
The style of houses here changes a lot across the country but pic related is what most look like here in my area.
That depends. Are we talking about Vancouver or Regina?
You need to make like 500k per year to afford that don't you?
Only boomers can have that, and in some in the middle of nothing states.
>tfw average american makes $10,000,000 a year and lives in a 40000 sq ft house
Fuck bros, wish it were me
But in the middle of nothing states are the best ones. The coasts are shit holes where fags and people who are old and ready to die live.
They look more like this 'round here
>You need to make like 500k per year to afford that don't you?
Fuck no. It depends on where you live but that is a very standard house here. The family living in that house probably makes $100k/yr. Again, it depends on the area but that is definitely achievable for most families.
honestly the house in OPs pic is probably like 100k at the most.
You're actually retarded and don't know anything about America if you think that house isn't average.
t. has never been to america
You never go to the poor neighborhoods, do you? Or the new neighborhoods built with almost no front yard.
>4,000sqft
>lower end: $400,000
>higher end: $1,600,000
Do you understand what a mortgage is?
yeah and most Americans can never afford to pay one off
lol
irrelevant
That’s probably a 60,000 a year house
500k people don’t have houses they have mansions or penthouses
woah
Comfy.
across the street
$700,000 uninsulated box
Damn, that's africa tier. I thought you guys were white
looks like a nice, decently sized house. what kind of people live in houses like this ?
is that a pobla? because that's not average, just poor.
unironically poor people
every single person in America east of the Appalachians who is middle class lower, or below
>middle class
>a shit house like that
no way, that's lower class only
generally lower, but in New Jersey that or this can be worth $400,000
Yeah thats low class by 2020 standards
1970s middle class sure
this is lower class ?
>i suffer in america
you guys must be very sheltered if you think those are working class abodes.
>drywall
Is the ladder(?) for access to the roof to remove snow?
>You need to make like 500k per year to afford that don't you?
My parent's make about $140,000 combined and live in something similar.
>and in some in the middle of nothing states.
Five minutes from a trauma center, 40 from a major international airport.
I wish I wasn't a disgusting 3rd worlder, oh bad luck I guess.
Pretty much this but it depends on plenty of factors. I've been in comfy towns with not the shit you find in a city and the houses (from an outside view) are pretty nice
But most of the houses I've been to that look like shit on the outside look good on the inside
why are americans so proud of their McMansions?
>average American house
>Is the ladder(?) for access to the roof to remove snow?
Yes. And cleaning the roof in summer, fixing the chimney if needed etc.
>mfw I remembered building this house on Sims 3
>take me back
Those kids are gonna get bullied hard for being poor believe it or not
These are everywhere where I live. I grew up in an almost identical house as pic related but red/black.
They're reinforced concrete shithouses. Flat roofs are a mistake.
looks comfy t bh. i visited some relatives in puerto rico and they had a home like this. it's nice having the breeze flow through with those gates and shutters
>McMansion
>average
I guess they're pretty common, but I also guess shit like mobile homes is even more common.
With that porch it would fit right in in the South.
Yup, I've noticed the similarity between houses here and in the south. These big porches are very common here and have been for a very long time.
I'm really liking the stuff the Swede is posting, gotta say.
Here's a prototypical American mountain cabin.
Looks like somewhere someone would get murdered.
No, it's where you arrange the murdering.
japan
Mine is better, I live I a fuckin mansion with the nicest view for a cemitery
