Is European solidarity meme?

Is European solidarity meme?
Seems like everyone has started to turn their back on everybody.

It is just southrons who are mad that we won't give them more and more money. But they will come around once this all blows over. They know that they are just beggars without the EU. They know that they are no better than North Africans and other arabs. They know they need us.
And because they are our European brothers we will keep taking care of them.

>Why doesn't the EU do act in an area where member states haven't even transferred their powers to it.

>we
>Finland
You're as irrelevant as Greece, even with all the debts it has on its shoulders.

Attached: EU_budget_contributions.png (550x656, 29.44K)

You will not be getting any of those corona bonds. You don't deserve them. And you will not leave EU or do anything about it.

i love how your kind constantly brags about how rich you are
if you are so rich why do you need free money from irrelevant countries?

>he thinks he isn't going to pay
You just made yourself look like a fool to the rest of the world.

Yes, it's well known Northern Europeans lack soul and empathy.

>Why does a regional organisation comprised of countries with top tier cultures and histories lack solidarity
Because Europeans (including my own flag) are arrogant and hold nothing but contempt for eachother.

It's the germs and their retarded offsprings that are being autistic
Everybody else gets along quite nicely

Its a union of an imaginary continent after all. Of course it bound to fail.

Boo hooo we soo poor we need your moneyy netherlandss!!!
>no
AAAAAAA GERMANY GIVE US MONEY

>no pls gib money
t. south europe, since forever

Southrons are buttmad we won't let them use this situation as blackmail to force another of their shitty "fiscal union" ideas on us.
Amazingly the rousing success of their great "euro" idea from 40 years ago did not endear us to listen to their bullshit ever again.

There is plenty of help to be had, and EU countries help eachother a lot with relocating patients to countries with intensive care capacities, with a large cash pool, communal purchasing of medical goods and so on.
But its not the SPECIFIC shitty idea they want to force on us, so obviously we're evil and Nazis etc. and european solidarity is dead.

have you guys got no shame? is dealing with your problems and not nagging to everyone else about them even a thing in italy?

After we said no italians are buying ad spaces in german news papers talking about how important the EU is right now and referring back to WW2 to guilt germans in to giving money lol

But we're still supporting eachother. We're shipping medical personnel and equipment back and forth across borders to relief areas with the biggest concentration of patients. Major European airlines with government shareholders (like Airfrance) were shipping EU citizens from China during the initial outbreak.

Attached: 1581108481158.jpg (705x705, 50.19K)

EU members have shown more solidarity than US states, but that is a low bar to cross.

Wow, so we're basically one of the biggest contributors to the EU budget. Nice to know we carry the burden of keeping the union alive.

>tried to turn entire nations into vague, inorganic states
boggles the noggin.

Seeing fucking ITALY trying to guilt-trip us over WW2 was some shit.
F U C K I N G ITALY!

Particularly juicy with how they actually tried the children level conversation tactic by shit talking someone else first "Oh no germany, you're good but those baaaad Dutch".

The EU will be only stronger, just like after every major crisis.

After the Spanish flu pandemics we had the roaring 20s, time to repeat it.

Well yeah, Poland is an actual country of relevant size. Most of the EU, sorry to say, is a bunch of dwarf states.

>The EU will be only stronger
no lol

>they think they can stop the meds once France came back with his brothers

Attached: lol.png (860x559, 165.26K)

>The EU will be only stronger, just like after every major crisis.
I'm betting on this as well.
This pandemic crisis is the best thing that could happen to EU's machine on beaurocratic "cooperation" networks. In the context of this shitty situation it will be verified what works, what doesn't and what needs to be changed.
It's like a grand test for a real crisis.

>he thinks france is on anyones side but their own
You're in for some heavy disappointment.

Yes, maybe EU countries will eventually see that outsourcing everything to Asia wasn't the best idea and more industry will return to Europe.

You can remove your proxy Nigel

lol
The EU is finished (and my country's too; but it's ok, we deserve it).
European solidarity never existed: only northerners dominating southerners

People forget about WW2 just after 5 years and european countries started to cooperate and you think the union will break apart because of a virus?

you will forget it in about a year

>you think the union will break apart because of a virus?
yes, it will do, the next country to leave will be Italy or us.

this never work since we have nothing in common with each other

We´ll see that, pavlov szdoemalsdnfaensky.

Lmao
My country's in for a 2008 2.0 (bigger and "better"). Only complete morons will keep having faith in the EU after this

No one will leave it anymore, stop it. How would it be supposed to benefit you? Why do you blame the EU for everything? Don't you see how the European integration helped you? Ask your grandfathers how wonderful life in Spain was in the 1930s.

cringe. pretty sure a pile of ants could dominate italy at this point

The EU is not God to have faith in. It's just a political and economic organization that benefits you more than harms you.

Do you think it will help you when you build a wall on the border with France or Austria?

I could ask him what life was before Franco´s death or before becoming a member of the EU.

I am going to tell you just what they told me, It was wayyyyyy fucking better.

I don't know, look at the United Kingdom, they have been the smartest here, they look for their country as we should look for ours, nor for Germany or other countries that we have nothing in common with them (this includes your country).

>a pile of ants
Ah! They really could, user. They really could
Ah, shut up, pole. It is a fact that trust in the EU, here in Italy, is diminishing by the day. If only you knew how much my parents (to make a few random examples) hate it...

There was never solidarity just look at Gibraltar

>and more industry will return to Europe

my sides

I mean youre trying to victimize south against the big bad north but in actuality it doesnt matter how much money you leech if you keep fucking yourselves over

>It was wayyyyyy fucking better.

Could you grandfather afford travelling around the world? Because nowadays lots of Spaniards go to Asia, America, wherever they want.

I don't see any benefits of brexit. Moreover, the UK is a completely different thing, Spain doesn't have such ties to the most developed economies in the world like the US, Australia, Canada.

That's not enough, won't you shoulder a few debts incurred by other countries to help a bit more?

Bah! It doesn't matter who's right (me or you). The only thing that matters is that EU's reputation in Italy is probably at its lowest point right now

>Asia wasn't the best idea and more industry will return to Europe.
>will return to Europe.
HAHAHHAHAHA

>It is a fact that trust in the EU, here in Italy, is diminishing by the day. If only you knew how much my parents (to make a few random examples) hate it...

Hitler made people hate democracy too but it doesn't mean democracy is inherently bad. Just don't listen to anti-EU propaganda and fake news.

>it doesn't mean democracy is inherently bad
Are you really sure about that, user? What I've seen in my 24 years of life hasn't left me with a very good impression regarding democracy's "goodness"

The italian is right though. Chinese and russian propaganda convinced italian boomers that all their fuckups are somehow the fault of the evil EU and the evil fiscally responsible countries, and they're eating it up. Getting someone else to blame for your own fuckups is a hell of a drug, it worked with the UK and it can totally work with Italy.

Yes it is

>Could you grandfather afford travelling around the world?

Why would I want to afford to travel somewhere when unemployment rates are through the roofs?
I dont give a fuck about that, but at least back in those days It was very fucking easy to get a job, have a stable source of money, buy your own car and become an independent functional adult. Every time I go to my city´s centre I have to see ruins after ruins of abadonned factories left to rot.

>Could you grandfather afford travelling around the world?
who cares about it when you couldn't even get a job lol

>What I've seen in my 24 years of life

Exactly, you're just too young, young people just want to see the world burn, they want to change something, even if it's gonna turn for the worse for them

Seriously I can't understand how the people believe that 'just start printing money and suddenly your economy will recover' works

Not nearly as bad as what happened after hurricane Katrina. Storngest millitary in the world was too busy in Iraq serving us while niggers were looting in their own turf.

>I go to my city´s centre I have to see ruins after ruins of abadonned factories left to rot.
Asturias?

Not quite, in 2017 you were the biggest net recipient actually! topkek

So actually that chart is misleading. This is the real one

Attached: net.jpg (491x844, 34.89K)

>Why would I want to afford to travel somewhere when unemployment rates are through the roofs?

I see a lot of Spanish tourists, even here. Mostly young people, not boomers.

>I dont give a fuck about that

>I only care about what proves my point

>buy your own car

Lmao I don't get why people fetishize cars so much. You can have a car for 1000 euros now, just an advanced society is the one where public transport is so developed so you don't even need a car.

Just to be completely clear, I think the EU is responsible for Italy's miserable state of affairs too
How old are you?

Croatia will go bankrupt by 2023 unless this virus meme ends, but who am I kidding, it will go bankrupt eventually regardless of Corona.

I'm glad Croatia is in the EU because I can easily leave this shithole. Thanks, EU.

>Seriously I can't understand how the people believe that 'just start printing money and suddenly your economy will recover' works
Because we aren't evolved to take longterm consequences as serious as short-term benefits. It takes serious effort to do that, and most don't.
They only know they kept dumping their currencyall the time and lived on high debt but their economy boomed, so they think inflation and debt are good. That all that just accumulated problems for further down the line (i.e. now) that doesn't compute. And even worse, it would require admitting they fucked up and were proud of having lived large on the strip mining of their countries future. People don't want to face that kind of truth.

>Just to be completely clear, I think the EU is responsible for Italy's miserable state of affairs too
If you think that it's just the EU's fault you are retarded.

>Chinese and russian propaganda
lolwut

Argentina also has its own currency, prints money and isn't in the EU, a child outsmarted his parents

>Málaga. Había mucha industria en la época de Paco, tabaqueras, lecheras, mataderos, empresas de productos químicos, y un largo etc..
>Sigue habiendo industria en Málaga pero no es lo mismo que era, antes podías ganarte la vida trabajando en las factorías malagueñas.
pensaba que era asturias por lo de poligonos industriales fantasma,

>it’s the EU’s fault
Probably the biggest cope of our society

>Just to be completely clear, I think the EU is responsible for Italy's miserable state of affairs too
Yeah I realise you are a easily influenced moron who only believes what absolves him of the most responsibility.

why will croatia go bankrupt

From this chart we see that Finland should shut the fuck up, UK had a legitimate reason to be demand a bigger say, Poland are sneaky pickpockets and Spain and ESPECIALLY Italy are grossly misrepresented in the whole "poor southern beggars" narrative.

>They only know they kept dumping their currencyall the time and lived on high debt but their economy boomed, so they think inflation and debt are good.

I'm pretty sure if they apply this policy the very first thing every Italian family that complains about the EU fiscal policy will do will be to convert their newly introduced liras to euros to prevent them from losing value.

it is, similar to "white people are keeping a nigga down"

It also shows that Germany is paying for most of the Union, which is only fair considering they have lined their pockets with the misery 10 years of Merkel/Schauble caused for the rest of us.

That might be so. But what exactly is germany supposed to do about the fact that italy has a grey economy the size of 1/3 of its GDP? Surely more gibs will solve it. bAH!

Edgy. There’s plenty of non-democratic countries around, just move there

No, it's not just the EU's fault. It's a considerable factor though
Yes.

>and Spain and ESPECIALLY Italy are grossly misrepresented in the whole "poor southern beggars" narrative
That would be true, if your politicians wouldn't be begging so much. You're not poor countries, unless it becomes convenient to pretend you are and demand eurobonds and similar shady nonsense.

>The EU will be only stronger, just like after every major crisis.
after this crisis there will be many riots and protests, in Spain there will be about 25% unemployment and people will go out

Poland is just getting compensated for the decades of stomped growth under communism.

Btw, funnily enough, Italy was one of the most pro-communist countries in western Europe so Italian companies made big deals here, most of Eastern Europe drove Fiats or their clones.

I think EU members should be cautious when using the UK as an example.
We have always had euroskeptics in British politics but it was difficult for them to push for independence because they've been slowly dying out. The conservative party today is full of neocons and we have a leader and his cabinet who were never truly euroskeptics.
Were it not for the internet and smart phones, brexit would have never happened. I'm not blaming Russians or some shadowy political group for programs of mass influence- it's just that so impressionable boomers after 2010 started buying smart phones and using social media where they have been bombarded with news on things that aren't as bad as they seem.
We are quite different from the rest of continental europe, but since WW2 we definitely started to integrate with europe. It's now common even for lower classes to retire out in Spain or Portugal whereas before it was out of the question.

You people need to shut the fuck up and stop whining about the "waaahh the ebil germans got rich on us. No its not sensible and harsh economic policies and sacrifices made by the german population, it must be evil economic vodoo"

> where public transport is so developed so you don't even need a car.

Well, lad I am from a poor region where the services are not as efficient and It takes a good fucking time for the buses to get on time.

>I see a lot of Spanish tourists, even here

Travelling is cheaper, but I would fucking change that for a Spain that had way lower unemployment rates. I dont care about your european union thingy, I know that we are too deep into this shit to get out, but do not fool me because I have seen the degenaration by myself, It has not been benefitial.

We've been stagnating since 2014 and this crisis will be several times worse than the 2008 recession which lasted 6 years in Croatia.

We've been doomed ever since the war in 91-95, but Corona will speed up the process significantly. Our tourism is dead and our industry has been a sad joke for 30 years.

It's over.

>but I would fucking change that for a Spain that had way lower unemployment rates

>grass was greener

>because I have seen the degenaration by myself

you didn't even live in these 'better times'

>the EU is keeping us down
We have a record in fiscal evasion (120bn/year)
The most inefficient and corrupt bureaucracy in Europe
We spend more on pensions than we do on research and innovation, on families and young people and the future of the country
We have a totally unprepared political class that for decades at best lined its own pockets, promised bullshit, and did nothing, and at worst actively worked with the mafia

But sure, it’s muh EU bad keeping the Italian man down. You’re pathetic

>I see a lot of Spanish tourists, even here. Mostly young people, not boomers.
I've only been to Bergamo in all my life, my goodness, that all that traveling shit matters I have never understood.

I'm just stating what I've experienced in my life, user. No need to take it personally
I don't know what Germany is supposed to do. What I do know is that, if we had a referendum about leaving the union right now, the majority of the population would almost certainly vote "leave"

>We've been doomed ever since the war in 91-95

I don't want to be rude but you didn't have to leave Yugoslavia.

>The most inefficient and corrupt bureaucracy in Europe
lmao
>We spend more on pensions than we do on research and innovation, on families and young people and the future of the country
>We have a totally unprepared political class that for decades at best lined its own pockets, promised bullshit, and did nothing, and at worst actively worked with the mafia
Croatia is literally poorer mini Italy.

No your healthcare system and way of life is to blame. Also hygiene in your hospitals. 10 people in one room. Average age of your citizens is 48. 70 year old doctors are still prescribing penicilin in small villages. No wonder you get cleansed.

Average age 48 whats more to say

>What I do know is that, if we had a referendum about leaving the union right now, the majority of the population would almost certainly vote "leave"

And what the EU is supposed to do about it? It's your problem if you fall for cheap propaganda. Why do you think you can blackmail someone with that?

>What I do know is that, if we had a referendum about leaving the union right now, the majority of the population would almost certainly vote "leave"
If we had a referendum about giving every citizen 10000€ out of the state's pocket it would probably win as well, doesn't mean it's a good thing. Luckily there are people that understand the economic and social implications of certain choices

Perhaps its time for a referendum then

>All of these Euro flags
>All shitting on each other
Love it.

Germany is like all cuckold northerners, you help and give us a lot of stuff, and while you're busy working, we turn around and fuck with Chad Italy for free.

Jaroslav, do not compare commie poland with facist Spain because the comparison does not fucking work.
