Does Yas Forums like to play foreign board games? Which one?

Not regularly but one of my friends and I play go and chess with each other occasionally
I've always wanted to learn mahjong since watching legendary gambler tetsuya

Chess is more like a category than a single game. Xiangqi and Shogi (Chinese and Japanese chess) are different from Western Chess but they're still kinda similar.

Weird.

I like Sapporo. Asahi is shit though.

We just call them shogi and chino cochino here

>chino cochino
Lel.

I play mahjong and backgammon my sister

pretty much you refer to chess and only one kind of chess is associated with the name

there was probably different european chess games too, i think middle-eastern is different too.

No shit, we're talking in English. But as OP asked for /foreign/ board games it made sense to ask for confirmation on whether the other anons were talking about Western chess.
