how can you have universal basic income and 50% youth unemployment at the same time?
based but I don't understand shit about it, saw a Kurzgesagt video about it and he talked wonders, that channel is EU propaganda tho, not very unbiased
it's 13% ok? it's not that bad...
In 2014, 57.9% of young people in Spain were unemployed.[3] From 2008 to 2014, workers younger than 35 had an average loss of purchasing power of 25.7%, more than a quarter of their income.[4] In 2012, Spain had the highest rate of long-term youth unemployment (more than 40%) of the countries in the euro zone.[5] At the end of 2016, the rate of unemployment among young people was 42.91%, 3.3% lower than the previous year (46.2%).[6] Though this may been seen as a sign of improvement, it is still concerning that of the 4.23 million unemployed counted at the end of 2016, 14.5% were youth younger than 25, of which almost 46% were long-term unemployed (more than a year unemployed).[7] Even though the rate of long-term youth unemployment has lowered recently, the fact that it remains high is cause for concern, since the more unemployed youth that exist, the greater the potential effects not only on themselves but on the Spanish economy as a whole.
asSpain will collapse
That was 2014, google 2019 data before ctrl + c ctrl +v'ing, quick fingers
Have you moved on?
The Wall Street Crash of 1929, also known as the Great Crash, was a major stock market crash that occurred in 1929. It started in September and ended late in October, when share prices on the New York Stock Exchange collapsed.
It was the most devastating stock market crash in the history of the United States, when taking into consideration the full extent and duration of its aftereffects.[1] The crash, which followed the London Stock Exchange's crash of September, signaled the beginning of the Great Depression.

How can you have 1% of the workforce taking home over 50% of the income?
What do you think they were for in the first place, Pekka Kuckonen? Health assistance? Support for private enterprise? Revitalizing the economy?
just google search which guys are in government in Spen, kek

literally owned by the German state
Didn't Finlan have universal basic gibs until recently?
>Revitalizing the economy?
What economy?
There was testing. A few random people got it.
Findings: people like free money. They weren't more likely to become employed (as some supporting arguments of UBI would claim, since employment doesn't take away UBI like it does unemployment insurance) or pursue education.
The major benefit of UBI is that it will net more votes for the party behind UBI.
I'm really interested in reading that study, since I my idea of utopia would include UBI, in order for people that are extraordinary at something that is not valuable to the market to still be able to pursue their talents freely. Not saying I currently advocate for it, but I'm interested in reading the conclusions of the finnish experiment.
Yepa Yepa arriba España allá voy
>ubi
>commie
Nixon and friedman literally wanted ubi because it gives more power to citizens
BBC said the final report should come out this year.
Thanks
moving to spain guys :-)
And takes power away from central planners by letting the consumers chose how to spend their benefits.
Negative income tax is theorically different though, but it's still pretty much UBI if the UBI is subjected to progressive taxation. NIT would be graded before payout, UBI would be equal for everyone but since people pay different taxes UBI-after-taxes would also be graded. So in effect they are both progressive as long as UBI is taxed and taxation is progressive.
The UBI project in Finland also came from a centre-right party according to BBC.
Thought you guys had Universal Basic Income, anyway?
Unlike social welfare, UBI doesn't have 'limit' at how much income the welfare will stop. So, UBI could be treated like per month of tax break for some people, but could also help poor people to have basic necessity.
They would still keep going to find better income since they wont be afraid of losing "free" money.
basic income will be a good thing and i wont bE surprised if evey EU country oes this.
people need to buy shit but to buy shit they need money. money will be moving that way and demand for poduct will not stop.
do you think coportions wnt people to stop buying stuff? they will pressure governmnts to provide basic income
>Yas Forums pass

It's propaganda.
Our commie government is now persecuting people critizising their actuation because of (((fake news))).
Please dont send any money here. Send help instead.
It's okay, I have a bunker ready.
What do you mean are commies in power?
>BUY GOLD
gold is a meme
BUY SILVER
Isn't the whole idea behind UBI that you tax people to get those funds? Can't really get a lot of revenue if productivity falls through the floor.
>not buying rhodium secure in the knowledge that its price has tripled in the last
You can pay it off in taxes for the next 100 years. Kinda like how america has trillions in debt
IN THE LAST WHAT user? The rhodium cabal got him.
I don't invest, I don't know how to well enough and I don't have enough money to do it.
But if you wanna stock up on valuable shit in case your money becomes worthles silver is usually better than gold.
Pay up Germany
It really depends on how much money you get. Also, the cost of living varies significantly from say, a city like Madrid to a village in bumfuck. So if you get enough money to get by without working, I can tell you nobody is going to look for a job (maybe just occasionaly, temp part-time job to get extra cash) and nobody is going "explore the adventorous entrepeneur side in me".
I think that was the case in Finland, they got enough money to get by and that's it.
>How much
about tree fiddy
There are people itt who think PSOE is socialist or even communist.
