I have a old ass schnauzer who suddenly became a fucking and then opened wounds by just laying too much and now I'm pretty sure has some problem in his urinary system
We already spent like 6k on this dog this year. I don't think he is going to make it the end of the year.
This picture was back in simpler days
A fucking cripple.
half German Shepherd, half Belgian Malinois. Was originally going to be a police dog but he failed training cause he was too retarded
I'm thinking about getting a cat. I'm sort of allergic but if I take allergy tablets it'll be fine. I just like the idea of having one in my flat as I live alone. Looking at the Russian Blue, seems like a nice breed.
i love this fucker
people mostly have dogs or hamsters here
What do tortoises do?
run around, bite and headbutt stuff they don't like, bask, eat and shit
they're definitely not as interactive as other pets tho
doggo. american staffy... getting old now
I wish
childhood dog passed away last year, I hadn't been home in a year
current apt doesnt allow pet dogs
allergic to cats and dont care for them as much
considering some rats or ferrets or something like that
Rats are apparently nice but I don't think I'd want a pet that doesn't acknowledge you as it's owner. That's basically just having an animal in the house, not a pet.
Rats can be trained well and are fairly affectionate
I work with animals so I don't mind the 'animal in a house not a pet' part, ideally when I retire or if I somehow become rich I'd become a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and spend my time taking care of animals
So they're cute but dumb? I've heard the same thing about snakes.
Hes a mutt just like me.
yeah as long as you satisfy their needs, they're suprisingly hard to take proper care of and get aggressive if they're pissed off
Seems like a pretty unsatisfying pet then.
>kind of want a pet
>terrified of commitment
Damn it
pet owners should be executed
idk, depends what you really want from a pet
good thing is that tortoises dont need constant affection like dogs do and you can go to work etc normally without a worry

I am pet of cow
I have salt water tank. And I have just ordered a second tank, twice as big.
Very nice tank. Your corals and live rock look great.
Give me a few minutes and I'll take some closeups
Looks pretty cool. Is it high maintenance? I wouldn't have the space in my flat anyway.
Here's some pics of my favorites. Taken me nearly 6 years to reach this stage. I can post singles with info on each if you want to know something in particular about one.
>Is it high maintenance?
Not really, but it is a bit more complicated than having a normal fresh water tank. Just a few more things you need to keep an eye on and a bit of equipment that needs to be specialized. It's a hobby more than just a tank of fish. Not for beginners.
Yes, I have a dog (pug) and a cat
How old is it? Does yours have that ridiculous life expectancy like some other species?
based
he's very young, I'm not sure how old he is exactly, but it's around 3 years
supposedly they live 50-100 years, but that's out in the wild and not 100% confirmed, in captivity it's around 30 years on average, so not that crazy for a tortoise, but still quite a lot
Very aesthetic. Does the UV light harm the fish?
No no, the UV light is needed to keep the fish and tank alive. These are all tropical fish and they live in rather shallow waters naturally so having the correct light is very important. It also helps natural bacteria in the water from growing wild, keeping cleaning to a minimum for me.
My mother has a cat. I love that little thing, but christ, they can be annoying as fuck. She wants food and cuddles whenever she fucking feels like it.
Comfy as fuck. Looks like a screensaver or something like that. Do you just turn off the light and look at it when you're stressed? I know I would.
>Do you just turn off the light and look at it when you're stressed?
Yup. I have a couch near it, I just lie there and chill.
>monki
OH NO NO NO
I have this little guy.
Looks like a good boy. A comfy boy too.
He's always comfy, I take him everywhere and even in my office there's a couch he sleeps in.
My building doesn't allow animals so I don't have a pet, don't have the time or money for one either way.
My parents have a dog though and we're bros 4 life.
We also had a rabbit when I was a young little boy, but he got sick and died. RIP Gorbachev.
Weird name for a rabbit
Maybe, my sister named him. What would you consider a normal name for a rabbit?

Yes ,a Boerboel

Big boys
Cute
Not the leader of the Soviet Union usually.
I always find rottweilers look aggressive.
I think that's part of the appeal. Some people want a 'tough' dog to show that they too are tough.
I've never understood that. My family had a friendly terrier, though I guess that's more of a family sort of dog.
Me neither, but different strokes ya'know.

I've a Russian blue cat
I think I want to get a cat of that breed. What's it like?
She is a very kind, friendly and loyal cat. Quiet, clean and can be kept indoors. The fur is very silky, cat allergies can also caress it.
Is she easy for maintenance? It would be my first ever cat so I would like one that's not going to be a nightmare.
My flat is a decent size so that'll probably be fine, and there are good big windows it could watch out of. It would just be me in the flat though and I work pretty much 9-5. I dunno. I keep changing between wanting to get one right now and thinking I'd not be able to handle it.
Ah well. I can't do anything before lockdown ends anyway.
wow qt
Nice eyes

no. dog
I had a doggo from the time I was 4 to 18. It's been many years since he died and I still miss him a lot. I would like to get a new dog fren but I live in an apartment.
Eat
how did you get him?
Cool flag m8
I took care of one for a week last summer
One time it just stared at a wall for 2 hours straight
Do you listen to gusic together
Same here. I'm actually thinking a cat might be better for my lifestyle and probably fills a similar void to a dog
1 cat
2 dogs
1 guinea pig
10 cockatiels I think
some canaries
