You guys ever use this for learning Japanese? It’s audio lessons. Just pirated it so I’ll give it a try.

some user posted this the other day and i gave it a try. since it adds more variety to the learning experience, i will continue with it. can't say it's bad after ~6 lessons. I think it's a neat addition, but not something you should solely rely on

I feel like trying to translate some manga, while learning Japanese, was a stupid idea. Thought I could always google new grammar and words. But now I feel like the sentences are often so butchered, lacking particles or spread over multiple text bubbles. Even when I get all the words and related grammar I still can't figure out things. Maybe some LNs or VNs will make more sense.

why were you translating?? just read it.

What do you mean? How will I understand it without translating?

By eating it.

I think he meant you need not to make a complete translated version of the book(what you meant by "translation" might sound like that for him, and it did for me as well), but just read it and grasp the meaning.

Is 我が something commonly used, or is it like an archaic form?

>カリフォルニア
>寝取られ
それは草

This is biased since only retards use fakku and retards seemingly like futanari

元気か

Attached: bliss.jpg (1920x1080, 531.8K)

It's an obsolete phrase indeed and people hardly use it in daily conversation, but as it sounds cool it's often used in subcultures or literature.

Over here we often call the virus Corona-chan, but on the Japanese web I more often see コロナくん.
Is there a deeper reason for that?

maybe they simply see the virus as male?

That's why I was asking.

I don't know.

>コロナくん
I haven't ever seen that though.

Does どういたしまして mean the same thing as "you're welcome" means in English? As a reply to someone thanking you.

I think its meaning is more like "it's not such a big deal", but as a typical phrase it'd be the counterpart of that.

Thanks for the reply

てえしたことじゃねえよ

I saw it on 5channel, but after googling a little that appears to be an outlier.
"コロナちゃん" is at about 250k results.
"コロナくん" has around 40k results.

?
I'm confused now
