We’re actually probably one of the countries best handling the crisis. We’ve been in lockdown for over a week now, and have only recorded one fatality. We’re doing a proper lockdown too, no moving to your summer houses while in lockdown like in France and the US.

Other than that, I'm not sure if it has revealed anything new. Public health has long been regarded as being underfunded. Everyone, including Chinese-Canadians, has some level of low-key dislike for Chinese. Getting caught between China and the US has always been a risk.
