why do you folks like politics so much

why do westerners love anti-chinese propaganda so much?

Attached: 维吾尔族.png (640x553, 488.46K)

it's diasporafags who can't fit into their new countries and cling to the idea of chinese ubermenschen to cope

knee how

okay western lapdog, are you going to throw a molotov at me?

I support the status quo and so does at least 46% of the voting population

have fun being an american puppet 杀死自己,你是蟑螂叛徒。

retard did you even read my post?
Hong Kong is China and I don't want that to change
this just further betrays your lack of understanding about china

knee how yall

>Hong Kong is China
okay based

>I support the status quo and so does at least 46% of the voting population
I don't know, what does Hong Kong people even want now
Are they okay with being Chinese?
Do they actually hate mainlanders?
Are they okay to be ruled by CCP indirectly?
Do they want more freedom or complete freedom as in independence?
All the riots plus western media is making me really confused since it seems that the normal, average Hong Kong people isn't being represented, just the ones that riot and or CCP claiming that it's just hkers doing what they do

I know some people from Hong Kong. It's mostly westerners astroturfing the youth into extremism, it isn't grassroots. Even if they do want it they are still letting in a western threat and should be eradicated

Without the Communist party, there would be no new China.

The big mistake here is that you are referring to Hong Kong people as a singular entity. There are seven million of us and millions on different sides of the political fence, more people than countries like Bulgaria

>120710778
>eradicated
user, I don't know, I don't particularly love hk people but I don't want them dead for no reason

>120710802
I'm saying average civilians, not pic related guy
What I mean is how do people that doesn't join riot and is obviously CCP agent think? There must be some pattern
For example, in Japan:
Netouyo: thinks everyone is a gook and supports LDP even if they fucked up, not much but posts on internet about their ideology aka ldp best
Busayo: basically trying to make Japan communist, very less
Others: basically don't give a shit considering the low voting rate, more than 50% of people belongs here

BASED

Attached: 没有共产党就没有新中国.jpg (2761x1553, 837.92K)

there are neither, Hong Kong is hopelessly polarized and will be an American and British puppet state if nothing is done about it

So how's corona really going there?
Literally every faggot newspaper headline is 'muh china lying, must pay' here.

The prevailing majority of people under 30 are the uninvolved pro-protester type. Obviously you get a spectrum from the lukewarm to those that support most of what the extremist rioters do, more towards the deep end here
These are the people that turned up for the legal protest marches and scampered if/when things turned violent
There's a sizable faction of mostly older folks who support the existing government, and a smaller bunch who are dedicated china patriots and push for more ccp control
We used to have as apathetic a voting population as you do, it's just recent events that pushed it way up

my family in Jiangsu have started going back to work, heard they lifted the quarantine in Wuhan too

Now? basically over, it was locked down until a week ago and schools are supposed to start soon, but they might be delayed to give teachers more time to prepare. It was quite bad a month or so ago, but it wasn't exactly 10 gorillion bodies on the street. The government is warning that a second wave is probably coming, which i was surprised they were honest about.

That's why they are faggots, China would be fucked up a month ago if they lying about the numbers

Do people hate CCP more than ever before?

It most definitely is not hopelessly polarised. Independence or return to colonial rule is still a fringe concept, you see them waving those flags all the time because the moderates don't have a flag to wave, even if the idea has gained some traction it's largely grown in popularity among the underage. Much of the opposition is only willing to go as far as universal suffrage and would drop the idea of violent conflict when they get there and when the ccp stops trying to encourage local politicians to push forward limits on freedom of speech

No clue, people don't really talk frankly to foreigners about politics. If anything, their popularity was probably boosted by the rally effect, just like in western democracies.

I fucking knew it. My coworker really thinks it's a zombie apocalypse there.
My country is full of retards who believe facebook larpers. Meanwhile the hospitals here started granting for dead >65y people who get infected, because we don't have enough facilities/equipment and they're just trying to save the younger ones.

Do you or do you not want to be part of China? "Free speech" is an American misnomer and an excuse to pump millions of tones of propaganda into your media, your social networks, and your brains. Learn your place. "Universal suffrage" is chauvinism, where is the democracy for the Mandarin speakers you throw bricks at?

Attached: 言论自由.jpg (1080x1830, 196.96K)

It was probably worse than reported in Wuhan, but it wasn't the utter disaster that retards think it was. I think some people online actually think a 1/3 of the country's population died or something stupid.

I'm using their words not mine. I already stated my position on this matter

Shanghai has gone back to work tentatively. Obviously trying to avoid a second round of infections

kek that the ambassador of iran, not syria

Why do Hong Kongers do it?

So you're a foreigner? What country are you from?

UK

China started mass state enforced quarantines at 30 deaths yet braindead hicks here or in Spain that started way later are just absolutely convinced China must be having it worse, it's pathetic

is the drop in Chinese cell phone users fake news?

Let's get into the nitty gritty here instead of chinese buzzwords like free speech. Local pro Beijing parties have been taking inspiration from the CCP; they passed a law banning improper use of the national flag after they did the same in the mainland and tried to do the same for the national anthem, obviously the radicals are against this but it attracts moderate opposition too because the provisions are wide ranging and could be interpreted to interfere with things like the Tiananmen memorial marches. Similarly ambiguous provisions is why Article 23, the law against sedition and treason, attracted such opposition back in 2003. The fear is not immediate but rather that one day the ambiguity might be exploited by the CCP to justify taking over more direct control, since they potentially allow for things like detention without warrants or evidence on anybody they accuse of endangering the country. For example there's nothing that stops them from labeling my presence on this website as endangering the country and packing me off to a labour camp Xinjiang. You'll have to explain what your opposition to universal suffrage is, I don't understand your position on it

It's not, but it also has nothing to do with deaths

>Banned improper use of the national flag and national anthem
Why is this wrong?
>Could interfere with Tiananmen memorial marches
Again, why is this wrong?
>Law against sedition and treason
Does Hong Kong tolerate traitors?
>More direct control
2333 you are a cockroach aren't you, do you not want to unify China eventually? A stronger government equals a stronger China which will lead to a more prosperous and successful Hong Kong. Do you just want to be Americans? What use will localism have for you but chaos?
>Detention without warrants on anybody endangering the country
Did you read too much of the Epoch Times? China has trials, we literally have judicial branches for that. Also the people they "accuse" (your word) of endangering the country are only accused because they threaten the stability of the society and its progress
>Nothing that stops them from labeling my presence as endangering
If you are a threat to national security and a Western puppet then that is rightful.
>Xinjiang labor camps
Lmao
>Why not have universal suffrage?
America should have already proved it to you in 2016. The people most capable of running the country should run it, not people uninterested in politics.

It's not wrong to me, it's wrong to them
You asked me why they think it's wrong and that's what I was explaining, these are not my views retard

As for the universal suffrage part, the local opposition believes it will help to ensure citizens have more ability to ensure the government is not abusing its power, because right now the only tactic they have for preventing the passing of laws they don't like is to delay legislature meetings with bureaucratic tape and they don't like that when they are passed the government can say it was passed by the will of the people since the legislature is elected, they think they can win the chief executive position in future as more young people reach voting age and therefore veto anything they don't like that pro beijing majorities in the legislature push through

Hong Kong is part of China, but China must respect Hong Kong's freedoms.

Its freedom to be a rightful part of China

What freedoms?

Yo, those hk motherfuckers can go on pornhub without vpn, and dudes from mainland are blocked by that fucking great fire wall crap

This, free my fellow coomers

We Chinese people found it strange that I study the 文言文 without learning modern. I though that is strange since the 2 don't seem to be similar.

How is that propaganda?

This is propaganda

Attached: eedb0c9.png (3295x2100, 3.17M)

fuck hong kongcuk

I'm reading Reverend Insanity, is it popular?

bump

Because the PRC has decades worth of atrocities to make that anti-Chinese propaganda well-deserved.

>America should have already proved it to you in 2016. The people most capable of running the country should run it, not people uninterested in politics.

How retarded do you have to be to forget that Hillary Clinton one the fucking popular vote by a landslide? You should be against the Electoral College; not universal suffrage, and the only Americans prohibited from voting should be retards like yourself.

You didn't answer my question.
