How do you mean

Attached: hesee.jpg (6965x2160, 2.16M)

beautiful, I hope for you the sea level will not rise up too much in the next decades tho

I think the Nordic landmass is rising up as fast as the sea level. It used to be compressed down during the ice age when there was ice over everything, and when the ice age ended, the land started rising up again

those islands were destroyed to create this city,
a shame

nice

Attached: stad.jpg (728x400, 54.43K)

We're actually gaining seven square kilometres of land every year, in the north the land is rising 9mm per year and in the south 3-5mm. The sea level is expected to rise 30cm by 2050

There used to be more islands but there's been a lot of infill to create those old harbors

no, I mean you're right

what is life like in this, it looks like a claustrafobic hell scape

Are you also from Maastricht?

that's good, hope the best for your beutiful city
vauban fortress architecture am I right?

i was born here, so for me is default lifestyle. People from small cities usually thinks that is fun to visit and likes the conveniences( a lot of things open 24H, lots of things to do, etc) but most of them can adapt, they miss the tranquility of their cities. People usually don't give a shit about you in big cities, because you are just one more, different from small cities that people know everything about you

>cannot adapt

by the way what city is this ?

I don't think it's that bad from a street level, but maybe I'm just used to it
