Canada is more Yankified due to proximity and also has Quebec. It is also less recently settled, so some things that would have linked them to Britain have died out or didn't exist when settlers went out there (cricket for example).

Canadians are like Americanized Brits if that makes any sense. They are like Americans only still with a monarchy. It's hard to tell if someone is Canadian or not unless they have a real strong Canadian accent. Sometimes you never know unless they tell you. I very much like Canada and monarchy, as well as British culture. I am part Canadian myself.
