They don't speak Spanish
They don't listen to Reggaeton
They are more individualistic than the average Latin American
They aren't a liveleak content creator
Why do people consider them part of Latin America?

Yes
I speak perfect Spanish and cant read or understand Portuguese for shit
This is a recent globalist leftist thing, we've never been part of this meme before.
dunno
there's an american who lives here who even created a fucking video on youtube saying brazilians aren't latins
lol
CHI
You got lucky that Brazil is in South America and not in Mexico, you guys already complain about Mexicans , Mexicans are angels compared to Brazilians.
don't lie. you can read it. It might be tiresome but you can. Understanding spoken portuguese is another matter entirely. as is understanding spoken spanish, unless it's mexican, which is pretty easy but I had spanish 101 when I was 12 so I can't really fathom how it is like to someone who never did. In fact, I used to think mexican spanish was easier to understand than euro portuguese but I'm used to it now so that doesn't hold true anymore
>You got lucky that Brazil is in South America and not in Mexico
I read some statistic that only 10% of Brazillians have ever studied Spanish as a second language, far below English and even French. Why is that? You guys don't really communicate with your neighbors?
It's like they don't even exist to be fair as far as our media are concerned. The bulk of our population are closer to the atlantic. Last time I heard of them was about chile's protest or something like that
so like whats up with the state of venz.? what kinda globalist Shyte! any one down there seen anything intresting?
>latin america
>brazil speaks a latin language
>is located in the americas
go figure
It's almost as if they spoke a Latin language uh.
yes Brazil is not latinx/latex/latin@
>don't listen to reggaeton
So they have taste?
If you're the Hellenismos CHI, a retarded nafri speaks spanish better than you

The first time I heard of Chile was when they showed some supermarket being shaken up by an earthquake on TV.
>mfw someone says Brazil is latex/latinx/latin@
Quebec isn't Latin America
The lengths hues will go to pretend that they're white really is pathetic.
>They aren't a liveleak content creator
Drop your proxy joão, no one gonna take you seriously just because you got the burgerflag
Because it's not independent and it's geographically isolated.
Haiti is Latin American.
it is though. we lean more towards africa than injun. better or worse it's up for you to decide
Latin America is a region that includes nations whose dominant language is Romance, without taking cultural aspects into account.
While Brazilians speak Portuguese, they are Latino even though their culture is contrastingly different from the rest of the region.
reggaeton is african too you dumb fuck
Still isn't reggaeton, which by definition, makes it better
My Spanish is like B1 and I still can understand maybe 50% of what BR posters are talking about in their threads
right... lol
For me reading portuguese is posible, but sometimes some words look very "weird" and I can't figure out what they mean until I try imagining how they would sound when spoken and then they make sense.
Even so, a few words are completely different, though.
How is Brazil portuguese different from Portugal portuguese? Spain version of spanish is clearly different in pronunciation to american spanish (any) but we can understand them perfectly.
>they are Latino
No.
Your dumb definition of latin america keeps changing every few years and it will never fit us because we won't take part in your little globalist scheme no matter how vague you make the definition.
I don't get why people DON'T consider them Latin American.
Schizophrenic
How? I'm learning Spanish as a 2nd language and even I can understand a bit of Portuguese.
Not really. The DR and PR doesn't have that much Black influence. Just ask them
People use Latin America including Brazil, otherwise "Ibero-America" would be much more used.
The truth is you want to disassociate with the term because you like to pretend that you're white and like to suck the Yankee cock.
vowels mainly. euro is short, brazilian is long. they long closed vowels we like open vowels, although if it's closed or open varies somewhat by region
for instance, the word danger/perigo/peligro here is perigo but in portugal is PRIGO
colesterol in euro pt would be something like clustrol
also, we tend to pronounce the l when it is in the end of the word like in english, as in bell or toll, while they speak it similar to spanish.
even shit like pele/piel/skin sounds closer to spanish. pele they say it like pel
But it could be, after all it's francophone.
That's because France was a good colonizing country that made functioning countries unlike Portugal or Spain
this
hispanoamerica needs to return to it's injun roots and embrace based andean techno-cumbia
youtu.be
they long closed vowels
was supposed
they like closed vowels
Do we really need this shit thread everyday? It's just because of the latin language and territory, even though we are totally different in culture, language, race, etc
Its almost the same language. I can speak read almost perfectly spanish and I only had classes during my graduation course.
I don't know enough Spanish to be considered fluent but I can still understand spoken Brazilian Portuguese surprisingly well. Never really put an effort into reading Portuguese though. This. Same. I'm nowhere close to fluent and I can still understand Portuguese.
The difference between Spanish and Portuguese is Spanish doesn't have silent letters, while half the letters in Portuguese are silent
Brazilians are resentful of being a brown african tier shithole so they try to separate themselves from other brown african tier shitholes to seek validation from europeans and americans. Their only national and cultural value is being extremely delusional.
What they don't understand is that their life won't improve even a bit for it and that americans and euros don't give a single fuck about them and won't ever do.
Same, even when you put Portuguese text into Spanish to English google translate it will still translate a lot of the sentence fine. The problem is that Portuguese has a lot of diglossia.
What's the Brazillian equivalent to cumbia?
Funk = reggaeton
yea, you don't really need to bother learning it. if you know spanish and come to brazil you'll probably pick it up in a month or so. even our soccer players learn italian which is harder than spanish without even studying it quickly and those guys are as dumb as dumb can be
It has nothing to do with language, it has always been an attempt at creating a false pan-american identity pushed by globalism idealists and in good orwellian fashion they try to do it through language control by tweaking definitions until they are widely accepted by simps who don't see through the political motivations of it.
We have absolutely nothing in common, stop trying to force this.

they are latinos alright, just like the rest of us
Exact.
It is a way of trying to remove the disgust of belonging to something with a bad name.
I don't
>they try to separate themselves
It's the other way around, we never interacted until very recently and now spics try to pretend we ever had any kind of shared history and culture, it's worse than pretending northern africa and europe are the same since at least they had a fair amount of contact despite not being similar.
What you say is not objective, you only spit ideologies.
yes it is
>hypersexualised music objectifying women

Not the guy you're replying to buy you're not a special and the sooner you come to terms with that the less it will hurt you.
Most of those things didn't even exist when the term was invented.
Retroactively trying to change the definitions of words to fit your political motivations is the actual ideological thought here.
kek his post really struck a nerve, macaco
>Canada is latinoamerica
This is somehow worse than UK vs Britain vs British Isles vs etc etc
>No adding Aztlan to trigger the Mutts
Also tripfags can neck themselves.
This.
That is a stretch, almost no one includes Québec, let alone Canada.
If I'm wrong and spics don't actually want Brazil included in this meme then why do spics try so hard to push for this idea here?
