The mutton stew
Probably the pork belly.
The Danish one but served on Finnish mashed potatoes.
can't I have all of them ?
the finish one
reindeer is good
Even in food Sweden gets cucked
1. Finnish
2. Danish
3. Icelandic
Throw all into big bowl and eat it like one meal.
Reindeer of course.
Y'all Nords know you can roast potatoes too, right?
creamy and soft is the best way to have potatoes
I would willingly eat the Swedish one every day desu
finland > denmark > sweden > the rest
that mutton aspic thing scares me
1. Stegt flæsk med persillesovs
2. Poronkäristys
3. Fårikål
pickled herring, I haven't eaten it in a while
The Swede, Dane, and Finn dishes. Rest are your typical Scandi trash.
you really took the effort to type that shit huh
Norway = Denmark > Finland > Faroe > Sweden > Iceland
He's a Pole, did you expect any less?
Norwegian > Danish > Finnish.
The rest look garbage
But have you eaten the smelly herring? If you know what I mean.
no :(
Probably whale or shark. Shark looks really soft.
none
Based
The Finnish and Danish offerings are the only ones that look like they're fit for human consumption.
wanna try tvöst och spik
i would eat them all but in order of preference it's
>denmark
>finland
>faroe
>norway
>sweden
>iceland
I'd try the whale thing just to see what it's like.
It's the one that looks poor af but that's secretly the best one in terms of favor balance
Is Poronkärystis actually good?
I would eat all of them except Icelands. I hear that it smells atrocious.
Poronkäristys looks pretty good right about now, desu senpai.
Everything looks fine for me. In order from best to worst:
Finland
Denmark
Sweden
Faroe
Iceland
Norway
Not mindblowing but yes, reindeer meat is good.
Sill och potatis (Sweden) - honestly, too familiar. I eat practically same combination at least once a month, when I get this "boiled potatoes plus pickled herring plus kvas" crave. The only unusual thing is the egg.
Farikal (Norway) - basically shchi. Without potatoes. Come on. Add potatoes.
Tvost og spik (Faroe Islands) - poor whale :( Also blubber is basically fat, right? I'd rather not.
Stegt flaesk med persillesovs (Denmark) - again, too familiar. Bechamel with potatoes sounds nice, but fried pork belly sounds and looks too fatty.
Poronkaristys (Finland) - now this sounds the most tasty and interesting. Lingonberries should give the old and tried "potatoes and meat" combination an interesting (and sour) twist.
Hakarl (Iceland) - could try out of curiosity, sounds exotic. But just the meat alone would get old really fast.
Finnish option
Fårikål all the way
The pork belly
And the only plate I wouldn't try is the shark because I can't deal with fermented things.
bottom left and bottom middle aren't even fair, anyone would eat that and not find them unusual at all
the reindeer dish
Löksås > persillesovs
none. they all look sopa de macaco tier
All except sour cream
Farikal seems the best
bottom left
Poronkäristys
All look pretty tasty but I'd probably go for the Danish one
the Finnish one and Denmark close second the rest is not my thing and/or gross
The whale one just out of curiosity. But the reindeer looks pretty fucking good.
Sweden or Finland. new potatoes + pickled herring is fucking god tier
Danish
Denmark or Finland
>Swedes are known for ruining a perfectly good herring
>norway looks like shit, despite that it's probably tasty
>wtf is going on in the upper right
>iceland can fuck off with fermented shit
Poronkäristys is one of few Finnish dishes I'd recommend a foreigner to try out
Finland > Denmark > Sweden > Iceland = Faroe Islands (both look exotic) > Norway
Hákarl
Gigachad.jpg
surprisingly lack of cod dishes, thought it was a staple over there
would like to try the icelandic hákarl dish. Nordic food is just simply superior. Imagine all the amerilards shrieking like vampires facing garlic when they see food that's not enriched with corn syrup
>Sweden
>pickled herring
Every fucking time.
I'd like to try the shark meat.
youtube.com
Can any euro tell me what the stuff on the plate at 4:40 is?
All looks good. I'd take shark cubes.
Swedish fläsk > Danish fläsk
ferrero rocher
A stack of bonbons I think.
Thanks Sven, that shit was eating away at me for years
yw
The Finnish one looks most edible.
i would try norway, finland and denmark
if i had to pick one i guess denmark, not huge on pork but it looks good
Pickled herring is tasty we eat it here, we pickle it with onions
