what pissed me off with my pirated version (I had a legit one long time ago i think), is that the positions settings didn't work. Like telling some units to not move and attack everything in range.
So if you don't constantly check your troops they just kys by attacking the village directly

Haven't played it for years, I used to spam bot games to practice ctrl grouping my buildings to be more efficient then jump to multiplayer only to get stomped by south americans. Games being too slow paced at my level also made me lose interest in continuing to learn.
