Modern korean is mixer of ancient Silla and which is Tungus mongol and Han.
Modern Japanese is mostly Yayoi which is Yangtze People and not a Han, with native Jomon people with some of Han.

Go to that site and compare the Chinese and Japanese lengths. Chinese are longer with MEASURED data. Japanese are shorter even with SELF-REPORTED data.
