Fucking finally. Mongolians have been larping as Russians for too long. They need to go back to their Asian roots.
Your own alphabet is Latin alphabet since antiquity way before Saxon conquest.
And before Roman you had nothing
I didn't know it was possible to be this BASED
basado
>wanting to go back writing in mumbo jumbo hieroglyphics
fucking kek.
isnt all writing just mumbo jumbo hieroglyphs?
Cool wonder what the old alphabet looked like
Like Manchu script. AKA sideways Arabic.
>moving away from russian influence
Cringe
Here's an example from the presidents website
Alphabet did not exist in England area before Roman.
Tbh only nobles or druids could know how to write, we found this in France, before Roman conquest England and France was pretty much the same people, so it looked like this
based
God, that looks unbearable to look at. Is that the old Mongol script?
>And before Roman you had nothing
True but the celts/irish/scots had a contemporary alphabet wich is chicken scratch on the sides of rocks
How it looks written
What is that then ?
good, kazakhstan is doing the same, russia is losing influence
absolutely based
Here's a letter from Ilkhan Oljaitu to French king Philip the Fair, seeking an alliance against Mamluk Egypt
t. invented mumbo-jumbo cyrillic script
The Brittons died with the romans the modern day celts of Britain are descended from the Irish who invaded the areas and replaced the native populations, these Irish had no script to begin with but later developed the meme rocks that I posted.
Is that Quebec flag ?
why is he wearing a fedora
Non, Martinique
Why does it look Arab?
French nobles were able read this ? I mean they understood the letter ? How ?
Very good
Russians tried to force us to use Cyrillic script in XVIII century.
The Mongolian script is derived from the Old Uyghur script, which itself descends from the Aramaic script. Arabic also descends from the Aramaic script, so no wonder they look superficially similar.
They had translators
I don’t think they had french pipo for this language back then or the letter was accompanied with mangolian pipo who spoke french. I said that considering that Japan was a mystery in medieval era in France.
alphabets are kiddie shit
real men just just remember every single word they use
You underestimate how interconnected the world was during the period of Mongol dominance. Mongols unified the entire silk road, so trade between Italian mercantile states and Western Asia was very common, and the world had reached a level of interconnection such that Marco Polo was able to travel to Yuan China and come back to Venice. It wasn't that rare for Westerners to be learnt in Eastern tongues, see the large number of Arabic loanwords in Italian as proof. But the opposite was also true, many Mongols converted to Christianity, so it shouldn't surprise you that some of them learnt Latin or Greek. It's very likely that Oljaitu's letter was translated in Latin by a Mongol envoy from the Ilkhanate.
Runes when?
harder isnt better, its completely the opposite for languages
only the true sophisticated deserve to be literate
this everybody should know how to read and write bullshit is peak SJW culture
except, how are the peasants gonna understand the "sophisticated" people orders without understanding their edicts? thats the reason King Sejong made hangul, theres a reason "sophisticated" people taught you to read and write, being anti rational wont make you a better anti SJW
A language's difficulty prevents it from being subverted from within by international parasites.
How do you think Finland and Japan held out for so long?
Does look neat
you are fucking retarded and clearly a Yas Forumstard
Not going to happen. Literacy only went up when they adopted cyrillic and the last time they tried to bring mongol script back there was a huge push against it. It would be cool to see it happen but it won't unless they're prepared to go back to like 20% literacy.
does it have a cursive mode? it looks like something designed to be written with a chisel
replace useful alphabet with a useless one (for modern times)
>Here's an example from the presidents website
>president.mn
purpose will be to close off the population from the west and make the people ignorant and subservient.
>God, that looks unbearable to look at
It's because you're familiarised with it.
I think the same thing about the cyrilic alphabet for example
They are still using Cyrillic script because it's not really possible for them to ditch it.
this is actually why the Southern US is so fucking retarded. some HR person with a $80000/yr salary transcribing a two-syllable name one letter at a time because they had never seen it before to have committed it to memory.
I don't think so, no, and you're right to say it looks like it's done with a chisel. Don't think I've ever seen an example of it that wasn't etched into stone or metal, says a lot about the times. I went to a local museum recently that had a really nice anglo Saxon brooch, but they'd used a jewel from roman times, that people had treasured for hundreds of years. Although it was pretty they lacked a lot
They had high rates of literacy because the soviets had programs to teach people how to read.
The alphabet has nothing to do with it.
It's a dead alphabet. No one uses it anymore
It depends. I have no idea how the mongolian script works. Maybe it's indeed better for the mongolian language.
The turks abandoned their alphabet and adopted the latin under Ataturk too
They're using both Cyrillic and Mongolian script
Cyrillic is apparently very compatible with the language and helped greatly. They tried to use the Latin alphabet before Cyrillic and it didn't work.
It's pretty cool how the website scrolls horizontally instead of vertically. Also unicode is amazing.
:Þ
That's really fucking cool
What a stupid move.
So they are gonna force 3 million people to learn new writing just because of
>muh roots
You'll be forced to learn Cyrillic soon Janez
the jews were able to do it
Retards, they should switch to latin script which would have far more benefits in the modern era than clinging to some medieval script that literally no one uses.
They tried, it didn't work.
The same goes for you, Astérix Lugdunensis
Just create extra letters. Latin script works with any language
based, more nations that got fucked by history should restore their original languages to common everyday use
