JEEZ... imagine that being your morning view every day. Sick
WHAAA? :O Explain, user
Nice. That castle looks oooold. Love it.
15th century church and 21th century skyline
This thread makes me realize all of the world is so beautiful
Supposedly, when Napoleon's army was pushing through Europe towards Moscow, when in the city of what is today my cunt's capital, out of the architecture there this church was the one that interested him the most and he said he'd like to bring it back to France.
Nice
Kasteel Neercanne
WOW! Now that is tasteful! Typically when I see modern buildings next to classics of the middle ages I go "OMG THEY RUINED IT!" But this... this makes me believe it cam be a beautiful combination. I love it
after
THAT is beautifully massive. The might of nature.
MY GAWD O__O
>tfw you don't live in a small french town
yeah same feeling for some reasons, I think the weather, time and mood makes me feel that way
Valkenburg
meant for
Is this real?
That is LEGIT :O
When it comes to castles, ANYTHING that I could post from where I live or nearby areas - there will be a similar one somewhere in Germany that's twice as big.
In fact, that type of advanced castle construction technology was brought over from Germany.
Yes user, Google "Paris 1937 exposition internationale"
would've been funny if they kept them
proto-expressionist/art noveau
thin boy
I see laundry outside O__O
Someone lives around there.
Does anyone live inside the defensive structure town thingy, or is it a museum of some sort?
Jeeeez... imagine living there and walking out to that. The feels.
THAT is beautiful and BRILLIANT at the same time. Wow...
I find it very strange that most of Spain looks like that.
most architecture here is cringe but there's some cool shit
All those layers of walls. All those beautiful surroundings. And so well kept.
If I was a dictator ruling the Netherlands, that would be my choice of peaceful place to be :D
The upper sea. Really the most beautiful place I have ever been to. There is basically no way to get there by foot because the first sea and the mountains, but at the very end of the upper sea is one lonely farm. (the small dot in the very middle at the water)
Kinda funny to have them face to face right in front of the Eifel Tower.
But that being said, the one you sent is pretty nice.
lmao, is that actually what the knesset looks like?
yeah
No idea why I posted that, this is in Italy.
>Does anyone live inside the defensive structure town thingy
Sure, we've got plenty of medieval towns like that, wait a sec
why? its comfy
EVERYONE knows the architect! :D So uniquely lovely
I would love to see that up close. Even the pillars look really detailed
One of the best Castle + castle town setups I've ever seen. Maybe the best. I love this thread
I'm just used to the coastal regions
Canada looks pretty fucking cool. Never thought it would look anything like this.
I'm already spent from the other thread, but here's one of the coolest photos
The ones you're posting look SO UNIQUE O_O Love it.
Just the might... standing in front of that has to
be spine-tingling.
I could've sworn I've seen that or smth very similar! :O And it was described as a kind of war with the inhabitants holding out.
its a parliament building not some rich billionaire's castle, the point is not to show off and waste fucktons of tax money. also knesset's design fits with jeruaselm's general style.
also metsada, an old fort that was besieged during the war with the romans, one of the historical sites where the army holds swearing ceremonies for new recruits
What warm colors of the entire view. I can't take my eyes off that massive bridge(I suppose?) in the middle O_O
Yeah, Cochem is a really nice castle. Was also one of the Reichsburgern (Reichs castles) that did not belong to the Kaiser personally but the Reich and were passed on from Kaiser to Kaiser and not somehow to their inbred offspring.
Naarden
We've got plenty like that but I need to find their name, I can't remember them all.
High res: upload.wikimedia.org
bahai are rich and have good taste in architecture , their stuff looks nice.
Where once one of the very, very last bastions of paganism in Europe stood. A mighty fortress.
Today - just barren Mounds and a unesco protected archaelogical site.

Hulst
Despite its size Rotterdam wasn't very beautiful before the war compared to Utrecht, Amsterdam and Groningen.
It's not like the Dutch living back then had much choice, but I'd say Rotterdam did a good job with trying something different.
What place
F
The live archaeology festivals there are amazing, though. It saddens me I haven't been to one of those in a while.
Btw, thoughts on Tallinn's combining of old and new?
Najac
Very opposite, the same family lives here for more than 800 years.
Elburg
Example of Norwegian dragon style houses
its a roman aqueduct 2000 years old
Beautiful, but wrong location.
I'd rather have seen the preservation of tight medieval Rome
Yeah, really curious about the history of that Palace in Canada O_o
Looks incredibly beautiful, but there's no way I'd get up there xD
SICK. Can imagine what it's like taking that road. Wanna visit :D
And that MASSIVE art piece on it O_O
I am LOVING what you do with the shapes of these islands! Never been to a place like that :D
Guessing a place there is exceptionally expensive?
The colorfulness O_O JUICY is how I'd describe it. Cool! :D
Well they did a FUCKING AMAZING job for sure.
I feel like a coomer on Yas Forums mass saving pics xD This is great!
