If we could erase the last 110 years of history, we'd be all good, no problems, but because of the wars of the 20th century, during which radicals and their race based ideologies grew increasingly popular due to the hard times we all lived through, we grew far apart and started to "hate" each other. On a person-to-person basis, we don't have problems with each other, with the exception of people who warred with each other or had some bad experiences during the past conflicts, but imo, it's all gonna dissipate when the boomers die off and a shift of politicians happens, when millenials and zoomers come to power, unless of course something happens and we have a major conflict again, but I don't think that's likely, because people here have mostly had their fill of wars, especially since we largely dislike the way our countries are being ran.
