Who cares? We should all look to ourselves and not compare our _____ with their ______
no surprises there
the average american salary is what a french ceo would get
I find this hard to believe desu
Oh
sad but true
>average
>median
>unironically being scared of foul language
Are you a nun?
are you joking
>breaks leg
>oh shit, I’m broke
oh no you are gonna trigger the yuropoors
AmeriKKKan can’t do statistics
my liquid assets fall into the early 40s range on this chart
And yet they still manage to live in trailers. How Americans manage such a poor life quality with their income boggles the mind.
But if you get sick you're bankrupt and they're also all soulless brown consuming goblins.
my french professor told me the french hate their forced 35 hour work week and that it's illegal to work and make money outside of that. true?
>18-24 age range wealthier on average than 30-34 age range
What's going on?
This is false and "FEE" is not a source.
In pic related, the source is Crédit Suisse.
The poorest 20% of Americans, aka black people, actually have a level of poverty (trailer parks etc) that are unimaginable in western Europe.
people are just shit with money and consoooom too much here. my parents make $160k+ a year (about $100k over the median for my area) and still "struggle" to pay for their $250k house because they just get into credit card debt and my dad gets a new thing from amazon every other day. some people are in shit situations but most are just retards
/thread.
It's 25-29, it's implied there
I think it's over college debt
>I find this hard to believe desu
When I was stationed in Germany at age 21, I made more money than my German friends parents did
i think wealth includes debts and excludes houses so someone 30-34 might be paying for a house and spending more but the wealth wont show that
Some people are also just fucking weird.
I know a guy that lives in a $25,000 house and has 8 cars that are all worth more than his houses
Based Pierre
this is from the FEE article

But it isn't though, your average merican does make more than most euro nations
Especially eastern European nations.
The article isn't wrong and your picture proves it
Imagine not living in the country with the most baste president in American history
No lol, working more than 35hours a week is called overwork and it's very common. Especially for any manager working more than 40 hours a week is the norm
he sounds based
I'd say 40 hours a week is average to low
hey kid wanna buy some staying-healthy DLC
Why are europeans so poor?
It's probably because of different customs. How common are credit cards in your country for example? Here only the very rich use it. Ironically enough, the ones who dont need it. You not gonna tell me the average person in Spain or Italy is in a better financial situation than the average american. thats just bullshit
>italy richer than Norway
yeah sure lmao
who the fuck came up with this stats?
Based Vroom Vroomer
>*higher education and healthcare not included in the cost of life
Damn, I am so jelly that amerimutts can get their corn syrup McNuggets for cheap.
it is in PPP
We use banking cards a lot. And often call it "credit cards" but we don't use credit like in america. Indeed, when you're wealthy, you don't need credit.
This kind of jew scum forcing credit on poor people, it's very controlled here, it's not a religion of credit like in the USA, religion of debt.
Second, you have to read about the difference between average and median.
OP talked about the 20% poorest, that's why it makes sense to show median stats.
Third : I know it's hard to believe because of the huge Hollywood and Netflix propaganda. We imagine americans as wealthy, cool, enjoying life.
They're actually black, living between prisons (where they have to work for almost nothing) and trailer parks.
Deal with it.
Follow the science.
the average person in Italy owns a house and saves instead of renting and investing, debit cards are also much more popular than credit cards
this is one of the reasons our economy is stagnating, not enough money circulating, it's all frozen
I like this list
how angry are you little man
This post is so mixed, I can't even tell 100% if bait or not
How is it for the younger generation? Here, this whole "you have your own flat" thing seems to be the thing of the soviet era. Vast majority of people my age (20s) rent
just get a scholarship and good job lmao
still, i've been to Norway and they have a lot more material wealth than us
just noticed it's from 2010 too, what is the point of citing 10 years old data?
What's so bad about credit cards? Just don't use more credit than you can afford. Use it like a debit card but it has more security and rewards.
i dont think they get the cash back or rewards points
I don't think there is any problem with it, but the credit system tied to it seems pretty fucked. If you the money you should be able to take a loan or rent a flat
younger people live with their parents until either grandma croaks and you get her house or you save up enough to get a mortgage and buy a house
it's still the first thing any young person puts their money in
renting is really rare outside of cities with impossible real estate prices like Milan
So the averages are inflated by a couple hundred trillionaire ultrajews worth 6 gorillion shekels and the median wealth is a better indicator and it shows the average american is poorer than the average european?
dunno, i didn't make or read the article kek
Hm, that's strange. Here everyone I know rents. I don't mind renting a place that much honestly.
Italians are rich because they eat a lot of pasta instead of real and more expensive food right?
there is more to europe than the western countries
i think it's a cultural thing, we tend to be conservative people who dislike change, so if you don't care about the flexibility renting a place gives you and feel secure about your financial future there's no reason not to get a mortgage, especially since it often ends up costing way less on a monthly basis
Is it true for western europe?
not us lol
Yes there are some countries west of western Europe that we keep hidding to discourage immigrants, like western luxemburg and Atlantis
I'm among the poorest 17% of the population in my country, but I'm fairly certain I have it better than the poorest 20% of Americans.
>americans are richer than bulgarians and albanians
wow that's a huge hurdle, congratulations guys
I work 39 hours per week, and i get 10 days vacation in addition to the 25 days i have by law
