kek
nah, nothing like that. there was a period of time where i lived within walking distance of a world class gym, place had fucking everything, huge free-weight area, rock wall, track, you name it. ever since leaving that it's just boring, i got spoiled

I have picked up the barbell in my room on a total of three separate occasions.

Friendlier than they get credit for.

Nope. Wayyy too expensive.

i dont want to be april fooled in the middle of a chinese virus pandemic

what's your take on other parts of the US, like the southern region for instance

LOL

March really flew by.

open carry

I went to Florida and South Carolina when I was younger. Too young to remember much of SC trip, but old enough to remember Florida. Fort Lauderdale was alright, Orlando was awesome. Overall it was beautiful weather and shining sea. I met a couple of kids from Georgia both my age staying at the same hotel in Orlando and we got along great plus their mom was hot as hell! I really want to visit New Orleans, Texas, anywhere Gulf of Mexico area. But I go anywhere in the south if I had the chance. Great culture and hospitality I'm told. Interesting history too.

eating a 5am ice cream sandwich

that's pretty much my take on the southern states too. pretty cool place, great weather, nice people, etc. i lived in NC for a couple years, not exactly the south but same thing more or less, it's such a cool environment to live in, i had a lot of fun there

>temperature rapidly changes
>immediately get sick
Every time

No one in the history of the world ever thought Orlando is awesome, okay?

Orlando, like most of Florida, is one huge suburban hodgepodge of shit. Central Florida in general is trash unless you like the parks, which I don't.

The only redeeming part of Florida is Jacksonville.

t. Lived in Florida for 2 years growing up.

Negative Nancy

Anywhere southern atlantic coast would be great to visit or maybe some national park in the deep south would be based. Are you in the north east, midwest or west coast now?

I can see how actually living in a place would give you a bad view of it. I was 12 so Universal Studios was amazing. Never been to Jacksonville though.

midwest

I've never been mid west but I have a friend in Michigan. He doesn't like it there.

I have never met a person that deserves enfranchisement and I'm beginning to think no one should have the vote.

Voting the the heart of democracy...

would you prefer boomers to vote instead?

yeah, midwest life can be a bit bleak, especially during winter. i don't blame him.

Democracy is inherently wrong, yes. Monarchy is the only natural state of government.

Maybe we should trial run you as king for a day

I would make post-natal abortion mandatory for all citizens and non-citizens.

He's born and raised Michigan and has never travelled more than a few miles from his place. He mostly stays at his apartment because he's too anxious to go outside and he doesn't like face to face social interaction. So that might be part of it too lol. He's an intelligent mostly down to earth but he's got issues.

kek

face your fear so you can overcome it and understand why

Pls stop using the term Midwest
It's completely meaningless
The worst part is a lot of people got duped into thinking that they actually live in this non-existent place.

Michigan is a Lakes state.

I also don't really like Rust Belt since it's too attached to the past. A lot of young people don't even know what a factory is anymore. All the old plants got torn down years ago.
To really appreciate manufacturing you have to visit someplace that actually has it.
You still see factories in America but it's nothing like in countries that actually still have manufacturing making up a large portion of their economies.

As for the leaf w the friend who doesn't like living in Michigan, please feel free to tell him that the Windsor tunnel is literally right there and he can go back and start earning Loonies again at any time.

The guy who lives in Michigan was born and raised in Michigan.

many such cases.

Tunnel too small then we will float him across
I can see your smoke stacks in Sarnia from my back yard

How is it meaningless? The 13 Colonies are the most relevant part of the country, so geographical names use them as a reference point

Midwest is still a stupid term.

It's meaningless because we get pigeonholed into this massive faceless old fashioned imagined geographical region. There's no contemporary meaning behind the term Midwest. It's all based in the past since when the term was invented that was indeed the Midwest. But nowadays that means it could be anything between Ohio and Idaho for a lot of people.

It's a subtraction from identity.

there's tons of manufacturing throughout the midwest. the manufacturing crash in the midwest was a blessing, it forced the region to diversify it's economy

Yeah. I feel bad. But I guess we're all going to be staying indoors more now.

Do you understand what I'm telling you? He's a natural born American. Why would you send him to Canada?

Do you hate everything America?

You're not a midwesterner. You're a faggot.

America is a bit of a piss hole, I'm not going to lie. But I don't hate it. I just don't like that specific label.

The former Rust Belt states still have a high percentage manufacturing jobs but it's quickly being caught up to buy the South and some other regions.

And anyway you kind of missed my point. I know there's manufacturing there but it's nothing like it used to be. I used to think that my family was a part of some manufacturing heritage, but it's not. There are some places where people still make things, but they don't have any labor identity, blue collar work is just a job for them. But you come to some places in Asia and you can really see what I'm talking about. There are some streets nearby where I live where factories line the streets and you can hear heavy machinery running well into the late hours of the night. We don't have that.

Fair enough.

How do I get google chrome to stop doing auto fill of previous searches when I type something in the search bar? I already cleared the history and cookies but it still shows up.

It should be mandated that all homosexuals are drained dry of their blood. Not for any purpose. I mean maybe it could be used in special effects.
