You can express your own opinion here. What we do have in germany are simply politicians and media that dictates the way how most people "should" think.
However that is not necessarily what the people in general think. There is a reason why germany pushes for more censorship in say twitter or facebook, because people are in fact voicing their opinions that are clearly not fitting the agenda of the current german government.

That is not apologizing. I don't feel bad that we did what we did and I don't see any reason to apologize for that. I might justify certain things and there is nothing wrong with that. Since there are a lot of things that nazis did not do, did do but only to a certain extent or did for a certain reason. That usually is lost in modern media, since everybody in modern mainstream media is only busy making nazis look as the spawn of the devil himself.
Massacres are a good example, that those massacres are usually tied with certain other events is usually neglected.
