I have no idea what he's saying even with the surrounding context, the speech seems to be written in a very old fashioned style and I don't know what "redeeming through the earth" could possibly mean (if I've gotten that right)

It rather seems >"redeeming by sacrificing the earth" and yes, I have no idea what he exactly imply by that phrase as well. It seems the author just concocted a text sounding somewhat religious and dignified.

I just dreamed I visited Japan (or China?) and then I was stuck in a false awakening loop and it was terrifying I eventually woke up for real after over 10 times, when I decided to hold my breath until I wake up.
