So, what exactly happens when this quarantine lasts for the next month and everyone runs out of money, food, don't have jobs, and the economy doesn't exist...?

I don't foresee western nations running out of processed food within a month or two.
The government will be forced to go ful brrrr and give gibs, that or full economic collapse.
Race War
Social chaos, see the movie "contagion" for a preview.
this stupid shit shouldn't last past next week
it's actually fucking ridiculous how extreme these measures have been
shutting down the fucking world for everyone over 65 is retarded
all the focus should have been on keeping them home and isolated, not everyone else who is necessary to society
you will be dead
dude spring break lmao
Our policy actually is isolating the elderly, but everything got closed anyway.
Unconditional basic income and robots will save us
i become a homeless man with an unwiped ass
>shutting down the fucking world for everyone over 65 is retarded
It's almost like their generation is the one calling the shots.
I'd recommend using tree leaves but that will probably kill you in some way or other because Australia.
There's also another one in the Americas called Manchineel.
>All parts of the tree contain strong toxins, some unidentified.[5] Its milky white sap contains phorbol and other skin irritants, producing strong allergic contact dermatitis.[6]
>Standing beneath the tree during rain will cause blistering of the skin from mere contact with this liquid: even a small drop of rain with the milky substance in it will cause the skin to blister.
>The sap has also been known to damage the paint on cars.[7] Burning the tree may cause ocular injuries if the smoke reaches the eyes.[8]
>Contact with its milky sap (latex) produces bullous dermatitis, acute keratoconjunctivitis and possibly large corneal epithelial defects.[9]
>The fruit is potentially fatal if eaten; however, no such occurrences are reported in the modern literature;[10] ingestion may produce severe gastroenteritis with bleeding, shock, bacterial superinfection, and the potential for airway compromise due to edema.[11]
>When ingested, the fruit is reportedly "pleasantly sweet" at first, with a subsequent "strange peppery feeling ... gradually progress[ing] to a burning, tearing sensation and tightness of the throat."
>Symptoms continue to worsen until the patient can "barely swallow solid food because of the excruciating pain and the feeling of a huge obstructing pharyngeal lump."[2]
I think remote working will become more of a norm that it is now. At least for office jobs
also the one that will kill you if you expose yourself to sunlight after having touched its leafs
Everything wants to kill us. Where can you find that type of tree?

northern countries according to the map, it shows some parts of italy as well but never been there so idk
businesses start permanently closing, especially local restaurants. a lot of them have already started closing. people can't pay their bills or rent. apparently we're supposed to be getting a stipend so that should be interesting.
>Unconditional
you mean universal
they will ease up the restrictions gradually. Expect business as usual around august. Until then, home office for the lucky, government gibs for the rest and kids home playing on their ipads
>runs out of money in a month
Do americans really?
a lot of people live paycheck to paycheck so yes
at 7000 calories a day it's going to go to hell pretty fast
nwo.
All the armed FREEDOM burgers are gonna get bored, grab their guns and go outside and life goes back to normal.
Who's gonna stop millions of armed Americans who got sick of sitting inside?
yes actually
MOTHER FUCKING JÄTTELOKA!
I fell into one of those as a kid, snapped a branch and got the "blood" all over my hands.
Had blisters and bleeding wounds all over for 3 weeks. I had black and purple hands for 6-7 years.
>Who's gonna stop millions of armed Americans who got sick of sitting inside?
Coronavirus
Yeah but 99% of people get a cold, some fever and then what? Stay at home for several months? Kek. Nope.
i mean, it's not that bad if you have internet, tv, etc. and we're supposed to be getting like a $1500 paycheck because of this whole thing so i think it'll be fine.
>we're supposed to be getting like a $1500 paycheck because of this whole thing
Everyone?
1500 bucks isn't gonna save peoples businesses though, or pay enough bills if the quarantine goes on. Or is it a weekly/monthly payout?
>So, what exactly happens when this quarantine lasts for the next month and everyone runs out of money, food, don't have jobs, and the economy doesn't exist...?
Most Western nations have welfare states that can easily weather 1 month-long shutdowns, dude. Here we have universal healthcare with free testing, unlimited paid sick leave for those that get sick and need to recover, short-time working (companies reduce their hours temporarily while the government pays a part of worker's salary so the jobs get preserved during a crisis), strong dismissal protections, housing allowance, eviction protections and so on
I may be wrong, but if you're 40+ then this could kill you and that's the majority of the population.
Young people can get it pretty seriously or transmit it to old people
It's a one-time payout LMAO
youtu.be
idk if it's weekly or monthly. probably monthly. most people will end up applying for unemployment benefits as well.
Unfortunately not all of us live in civilized countries
Get ready for >20% unemployment rates. I hope you stocked up on ammo.
Not many people where I live own guns
unemployment benefits exist here
>when this quarantine
The what?
>and everyone runs out of money, food, don't have jobs, and the economy doesn't exist...?
I work remotely so I'm going to he fine. No one will run out of food since we are still producing, transporting and selling it. If you can't afford food you'll still get basics. As for service industry jobs, those are fucked.
People that lose their jobs due to corona get a 75% of their salary from the government. In terms of calories, many people consume more than they need and have fat on them stored to begin with. We survived waaaay worse shit, this is easy difficulty tier DESU
>end of April for first checks
That's too far away.
My country has a supply stock for at least the next 4 months. People that lost their jobs will receive welfare
R.I.P capitalism.
From what i understand. If i'm a young somewhat healthy individual, i can literally recover from Corona the way i would recover from a cold. I almost never use medications to recover from colds, all i would have to do is quarantine myself and shit. Old people on the other hand get fucked
not everything will stop
don't rush to buy shit
stay at home, drink water and pop paracetamol for fever.
in the and it is a ""flu""". The problems is everyone getting sick together.
there is a video of a 32 year old fit woman in the hospital for coronavirus and she can barely speak or breathe. You probably should stay away.
Western stock exchanges collapse and chinks will buy them all out. Strap in, big boy
I will check it out. She has no other issues ? that doesn't fit what people say, weird
We eat the rich.
Most young people being hit hard by corona do have underlying health problems, either asthma or obesity for the most part. Leave nothing to chance, don't make the mistake of thinking you're invincible
she must have low imunity, some fit people use steroids and fuck their health.
appearance does not equals good health.
While you are likely to recover most young people that have symptoms are saying that it's not like a flu at all and that they have never been this knocked out by an illness before.
Same thing happens with the normal flu every year. There will always be a few young, healthy people that get hit harder for no obvious reason. It's the exception of the rule.
low immunity, diabetes and high blood pressure has been related to corona deaths on youngs
>boomers’ final parting gift is collapsing society
Figures.
by fit i meant healthy
this will last until June, at least
get used to it
Here it's already revving down. People are going back to work, nothing is closed down and the news papers are putting the normal shit back on the front pages.
>landlord raises rent by 1500$
nothing personel, remember to pay that first, it's important!
how are your numbers?
Around 1500 infected, 16 dead. All dead were elderly (60+) and/or with underlying health issues.
That really would be the most American thing they could do kek
and you stopped the new cases?
