How bad is Mexico?

Mexico can you redpill me on how bad or powerful drug cartels really are down there? Do they influence any part of your actual life or area? How does that mesh with your culture? I see lots of normalfag Mexicans that don't look like they escape a warzone like some fleeing to the border do. What's it like if it doesn't affect your life at all, but you know how much influence, is it ever on your mind? Are you more worried about corrupt local governments and law enforcement, or is it mostly overblown American propaganda?

I thought the North was cartel free because of drug war.

this infographic is old. Jalisco cartel is the biggest one right now.

I really don't know any specifics. I just grabbed this map off google that used a same source as BBC, but this one seems to be from 2016.

Here's one from last year from Mexico News Daily

>Templar Knights

It's bad
Real bad
Narcos are very influent and will fuck up your life it doesn't matter if you are innocent
Don't come
Never

They do not exist anymore, CJNG finished them

very bad, chi. please never return.

this map is old, Mexico is currently ran by 3 coalitions of cartels because cartels after splitting into 1000 groups and killing eachother over a kilometer of grass have realized that it's stupid and bad for business

I have never been affected by the cartels directly, but I've heard it's real bad for most people

do you think this is a warzone or something?

If they're so large, is it not uncommon to know someone affiliated? How does recruitment work? Is it in bad high schools and neighborhoods and prison like in the US? Or because they're not as shy as up here, do they do it in more open and forward ways? Is there like a good book or something I can read on how it all got so fucked and the government got so cucked?

quién /golfista/ aquí?

the fact that you're on 4chinz right now makes me believe you're probably middle class or higher. Yea, different mexico for you than those living in poverty or cartel controller zones.

I live in Sinaloa

We cool now

Most cartel recruitment is done by kidnapping you and forcing you at gun point, if you refuse they kill you

worry more about your niggers and obsession with drugs, don't come here, FUCK OFF

>Templar Knights
Are they christian or something kek

>El Salvador and their Maras
>Mexico and their gangs
>Americans and their mafia
Do you North Americans live off organized crime or what?
I'm not saying this shit doesn't exist here in South America (it does - cough PCC), but stuff like this is out of control there.

I just don't know shit except the perception that's given sometimes, so I thought I'd ask y'all before finding something to read on it.

>that fucking flag
>that fucking post
Give me a fucking break...

>Americans and their mafia
Doesn't exist, probably did in the 80s

>Do they influence any part of your actual life or area?
Nope
>How does that mesh with your culture?
Don't really know in other parts where i live is pretty calm
>What's it like if it doesn't affect your life at all, but you know how much influence, is it ever on your mind?
To be honest anyone who isn't involved with cartels live a peaceful life here if you for some reason get caught between a conflict is just pure bad luck or you were in a bad place in a bad moment
>Are you more worried about corrupt local governments and law enforcement, or is it mostly overblown American propaganda?
Not worried just want to see my country get better, i do my part don't throw garbage on streets, don't ignore traffic signals, respect people, but there isn't much a normal citizen can do

just like the US has ghettos and poverty lands filled with nigs and crime. But not all the country is like that, is it?

Morirás en menos de 2 años

What? No

Lol

Where did you hear that?

Recruitment happens by association, cartel stuff is a business and drugs are quite profitable, not everyone gets in

Look up
Ciudad Juarez

Don't listen to them
They are big
They are influential
They don't care if you are related or not
They will fuck up your life

>Give me a fucking break...
I even acknowledged South America has organized crime, although not as ubiquitous than in Tacoland. I mean, you're literally in the same continent as that Al Pacino nigger and the Mexican country next door worships two criminals (Bonny and Clyde), and mafia in Spanish Mexico itself is known for IS tier beheading. At this rate even the nicas are more civilized than the rest of you, EVEN THE NICAS.

Holy damn, the amount of lack of knowledge regarding cartel stuff is incredible

>that fucking flag
>that fucking post
Are you retarded or something?

youtube.com/watch?v=txmnSf1ctFQ&t=154s

There's currently 4 narco groups causing problems:
>CJNG
Currently the most powerful group and the most expanded one
>CDS
The Sinaloa one everyone knows which has currently been BTFO'D by CJNG since El Chapo's capture and extradition
>CDN
This one are just operates in Tamaulipas and it is an expantion of Los Zetas since it's downfall in 2018
>CSRL
This one just operates in Guanajuato and it is currently fighting the CJNG causing the state to be the most dangerous right now in the country

AAAAAAAH GRINGO LOS POLLOS HERMANS

>Are you retarded or something?
>waaaaaah I got no answer AND I CAN'T MASS SHOOT OVER INTERNET
Hey taco, shouldn't you be picking some cotton like a good North American boi? Don't lose your head~

Hence the thread. Most Americans have Breaking Bad/Sons of Anarchy/Narcos and Trump/Fox News as their only authorities on the subject.

Los Zetas control the Mayans, so obviously they will win

bro Yucatán is safer than almost the whole US.

>>CDS
>The Sinaloa one everyone knows which has currently been BTFO'D by CJNG since El Chapo's capture and extradition
This is completely false and I've no idea where you got this information

Well, the Incas are dedicated to cultivating drugs, no way that they were the same.

it is tho
do you live in a fucking cave?

Is there a month by month carter war video, kind of like those videos on WWII and other conflicts?

Yucatan and Campeche are paradises of security.

Zetas have been dead for 2 years now

>the North was cartel free
the north is the most disputed area, as having a land connection to the US, is the most prized possession, and allows them to funnel drugs to the US.

zetas aren't a thing anymore. only larpers

Your shithole country is literally worse in crime than fucking mexico, in every single aspect.

It is rubbish, but it is less dangerous than Mexico and does not maintain a war and insurgent groups dedicated to crime throughout the territory.

Sinaloa actually

Guess the cartel here is a bit more civilized

I am an American of Mexican descent

Attached: shoutsouttohalfarmeniananon.png (2048x2048, 1.16M)

You literally know shit, retard.

Lots of them move to USA, just figure

It was founded by some schizophrenic guy who liked the Knights Templar aesthetic, he forced some towns to worship some figures of himself.

Why?

That'd be pretty interesting. Who even really studies the cartels in depth or finds out about the nuanced internal changes or politics of them? Sounds like a good way to become dog food.

Also, Mexicans, what the FUCK is up with guys killing their girlfriends or women and then skinning them? Why is that a thing that happens more than a single freak case? Is it a Mexican thing?

Most women you see executed are involved with the cartels or pissed them off real bad, nobody gets killed for no reason

g1.globo.com/to/tocantins/noticia/2017/03/suspeita-de-trafico-e-presa-com-espada-durante-operacao-da-policia.html

>the most imporant part of the drug route is Cartel free

Goddamn you people really know shit about the subject.

>groups and killing eachother over a kilometer of grass have realized that it's stupid and bad for business

It's the reason why favelanigger in Rio can't stop killing each other.
Even the biggest and most organized group from São Paulo decided to throw them under the bus because they couldn't stop killing each other and attracting the Federal Police and Army to them.

Not that guy, but we don't.
The only area that ressembles the same intensity of combat as Mexico are Rio's Favelas.

In other places the organized crime are mother hidden for obvious reasons.
