Why has the virus fucked up Italy so much more than other countries?
It's killed more Italians than Chinks now, what are they doing wrong?

Reporting the actual numbers
italy is third world, when I was coming home from Algeria and landed in the Rome airport I didn't think I left. The city is so fucking disgusting, it's just nice stores with a bunch of filth (including the people) everywhere.
If it was killing that many people in our countries we'd fucking know about it, my mum is a doctor in the UK and so far she's had just one *suspected* case.
also the north is supposed to be the nicest, I can't even imagine how fucking filthy the south is.
also this
Ok Cheng
Rome is dirty by Italian standards.
ching chong ping ling, your country is still fucking filthy. Stay safe.
>Reporting the actual numbers
Bullshit, their death rate is through the roof compared to stuff like Diamond Princess.
Japan is obviously lying about the actual numbers of the infected. Hospitals are forced not to report it.
>Muh anecdotes
My father works in an hospital too, only two cases there, doesn't change the reality in other regions like Lombardy
ICU are overwhelmed, I guess.
The area which has been hit the hardest is quite rich. Hospital standards are very high there.
The king of Spain needs to help public health.
Southern Europe has surprisingly good healthcare, if anything better than in the richer Northern countries. Also the outbreak has been mainly in rich areas.
because of olympia?
Italy has trucks and trucks of dead people they need to ship out, funeral homes cant keep up anymore. If Japan is hiding everything they must have super power.
they are letting old people die on purpose
They're doing literally the opposite, everyone is being forced to stay in thereby fucking up the economy just to protect old people.
Can't report what you don't test for.
Look at fucking US
Because Italia lived through the pic of the epidemic while most countries didn't yet (except Sk and Ch but we know there will be more death in other European or Anglo countries probably)
Because Italia was one of the first occidental country to get hit really badly by the virus so they did all the mistakes that we learnt to not do
Because many hopitals and old people were touched during the epidemic due to these mistakes, so many weak people died hence the high death rate
Because testing philosophies are different from a state to an other it's absolutely useless to compare a country like Korea who tests a huge portion of it's population with a country like America who barely tested anybody and tests already sick people and make a death rate out of it, it doesn't make sense.
good in quality but low in quantity, at least here we've been underequipped for years on the manpower side
this. i want to go home. its like dirty smelly museum even when you are lucky enough to live in the historical center of the rome. outside of the center its just shithole

BASED Italians.
Boomers must end existance.
But how can you hide all the dead Davido kun
Even Iran has fewer Corona deaths than Italy (is a younger country than Italy ofc)
Italy has the second highest per capita number of population over 70. Combine that with an overwhelmed hospital system and you get a LOT of dead elderly people.
people were dying like flies before overwhelmed stage
We don't really know for sure, but there are several possible reasons:
- multiresistant germs are extremely widespread in italy as compared to e.g.germany (iirc 20% vs 1%) such that complications due to opportunistic germs are much more deadly
- often cases are count as corona on an unclear basis. Only a miniscule number of deaths can clearly be connected to corona, whereas most deaths could as well be attributed to other diseases, see agenzianova.com
(as of 13.03.2020 only two (2) deaths could clearly be attributed to corona whereas for all others there was either another disease present or it is completely unclear)
- Even dead people are tested on corona in italy which worsens the previous point even further.
- the unclear test situation which is a problem in all countries. How large is the number of infections going largely unnoticed? It could simply be that corona is much more widespread in italy than in the rest of europe such that the fatality rate is much less dramatic than it appears.
the diamond princess was easy to test completelym you little brain
Don't know about the US but in most places they're making diagnoses based off the symptoms rather than actual swab tests, it costs around $1000 to do an accurate test and that's in countries with public healthcare.
I read it had something to do with Italian cultural greeting practices, especially among the elderly (face kissing, very physical greetings). I dont know if this is aactually true or not though but it sounds like it could make sense.
Not even joking a I think because of med kissing everyone and constantly touching each other
Rome is honestly the biggest shithole I've been to in my life
if anything, crowded public transport is far more implicated (in milan even right fucking now the underground is still super crowded)
You don't know if Italian greeting practices are true? Even Italian Americans do it.
>what is incineration
wrong. chinks are just more disciplined
uganda be kidding me
funerals have been prohibited
Italian Americans are nothing like Italians. Let's just get that straight from the off.
what happens to all the dead bodies then?
Dumped in a bit and trampled to allow more to be thrown on top
they piled up inside the churches (masses have been prohibited too)
i'm disappointed by the absence of opposition from the catholics, they're basically inexistent at this point
not even during the plague they stopped the rituals
Still cant fit em all in the incinerator, they literally need to truck bodies out.
news.sky.com
Simple as. This is where EU stands today
Plague they didnt know about how disease spread they thought if you stayed away from stinky smells its fine.
Catholics here suspended all the church services. You can still have funerals if you keep it
And the further you get away from Diamond Princess numbers, the worse your testing is + also you have blown out hospitals (since all Diamond Princess passengers got the red carpet medical care)
millions of people have this memevirus
the people of codogno (the first redzone) were 85% asymptomatic
the death rate is well below 1%
also: stop doing dumb ratios with biased data
>You can still have funerals if you keep it
What bias data? Diamond Princess is the least bias data. Codogno might also be good data but I havent seen a lot of papers on it.
Japan just does not test unless you have every single symptom or came from high risk area.
Cough and fever? Well you don't have shortness of breath so not covid, go home.
biased data because 85% of the infected are asymptomatic and so they don't get tested
CFR is overestimated because the denominator is underestimated
Diamond Princess also recorded plenty of asymptomatic. Their CFR is 1%, but they are also very very old (average age 58).
When I say Italy has sky high death rate thats what I mean--they don't have enough testing capacity to test the asymptomatic/presymptomatic or even mild cases anymore. To be fair to Italy, neither does most of the West afaik, maybe outside of Germany
pretty much all the deads are over 70 y/o
Our system is falling flat on its face. Very few people are being tested and that's partially due to the fact that people are reluctant to seek medical care until things are serious out of fear that their wallets will get raped.
A bill was just signed into law today saying that insurance companies have to cover the cost of testing, but not treatment. A lot of people are going to die here.
Euros can’t into hygiene
Italy has fuck all medical equipment, their hospitals look like you ended up in a 1960s vintage museum that got a little too real. Also, keep in mind Italians greet each other with kissing each other's cheeks, both genders all ages.
true, i got operated 2 years ago of appendicitis and the surgeon was drinking wine and eating carbonara minutes before i got it
i think he operated me with fork and knife and even got the side wrong, he told me i had some variable appendix so he had to do 2 cuts, sounded like bs
Shitty outdated hospitals + one of the oldest population on eath + socially active people who like to mingle a lot
Our health care is poor in quality and quantity
third world country
Why would italy make their numbers seem worse?
Daily reminder Shitaly has the highest rate of medical incident death among europe and oecd countries ofcourse much before corona. many relatively newly built buildings are collapsing. people here are just getting redpilled
During the 2009 Swine flu, there were around 14,000 confirmed deaths across the world, although it is estimated that it killed at least several hundred thousand people.
The same will happen with coronavirus. There will probably be around 50,000 confirmed deaths when this shit ends but the real number of deaths will be around 500,000
I'm something of a Med myself (I'm Swedish) and I think it's because we have this culture where we kiss each other on the cheeks during greetings
It's insane, South Germany produces medical gear in spades, you could get supplied in weeks, you could just come over with a bunch of trucks and supply yourselves. Why aren't you doing it?
what i meant about the building is everything is shit
Also the pandemic doesn't only kill through disease. It also kills indirectly. A lot of people will die because of the collapsed health systems evem of they don't have coronavirus. And many others will die because of the decaying economy caused by the pandemic
oh man.... just shut the f up
But why your healthcare is ranked second best in europe?
>just shut the f up
You can swear you know.
I don't know it is in other countries, but here we do not have enough test kits/resources to test everyone. Anyone who doesn't have very severe symptoms (ie pneumonia, difficulty breathing, etc.) doesn't get tested. I went to an assessment center they set up nearby and they told me to just go home.
If it's like this everywhere, then there are far more people infected than the 200k worldwide number, and likely far more deaths to come. Unfortunately retards only see this and think that not that many people have it.
