Why do europeans try to pretend American homes are awful, or made of cardboard when Euros live in this? Is it some manner of coping mechanism?
Why do europeans try to pretend American homes are awful, or made of cardboard when Euros live in this...
>UK = Europe
why not? it's a very european way of framing a observation ! :^)
Inb4 every euro complains about not having air conditioning this summer
fuck I really wish I had air conditioning for the coming summer
don't I fucking wish I had some aircon for this coming summer
looking for equivalent housing in your small towns isn't turning out so good, you seem to live in nothing but four story cheap cinderblock apartments painted yellow
better than your cardboard houses
yep, it is cope afterall, lol
what's it like waking up on top of your neighbor's nose eduardo?
ok, wow, I am really impressed out how this random streetview dropped
that really is just remarkably shit
Soul
soul
Thats tuff
I take it they go between floors on a ladder and a fire pole
Soul and comfy
obviously cherry picked and STILL i would rather live there than in this dystopian shithole
cherry picked? sure, it's the first thing resembling a house I've encountered after running into giant cinderblock apartment after cinderblock apartment all painted yellow in multiple towns, if anything this is the most comparable density housing I've encountered. so yeah, "he's just cherry picking"
Insulted that people always pick on the UK when our terraces at least have history to them and they're not all we live in, the whole of mainland looks exactly like this
it's called old world charm, you wouldn't get it
Its called soul
ah yes, the straw mortar about to fall over old world charm...
why do you yuro fags go on about our suburbs when you all lived way more packed in like the pigs in your image
Germany? the stark and ordered blandness gives it away
Only thing grim about american suburbs is that you have to drive everywhere and you have homeowners associations, europe has suburbs too just without those negative points
Ding ding
it really is a matter of location, I'm a short walk away from a grocer, hardware store, restaurant, general store, doctor's office, kennel, pharmacy, etc. ect.
Rare but good for you.
Is there any public transport from the suburb to the city center?
Busses, railways, trams and metro that you can commute to anywhere in the city area within 1.5h ?
This building transpires SOUL through every hole and crack in the walls.
There is a train passenger line that takes people to the major cities on the eastern coastal corridor, as well as to the major city on this part of the state, minor busing exists for disabled people, charter buses exist for cross state and city to city travel. Trams are 404 since the 1920s. For me the "city" center is also a brief walk of no more than an hour. Underground metros are really only needed for major cities, or those very spread out. Rail just isn't cost effective for private enterprise on this continent as a premier transportation entity, people will drive their car to the next town instead of waiting for a train like in Europe.
And there is your answer.
pardon?
You're right. Imagine how much of a shithole Asspain is if that's the UK.
those are better than your cardboard houses mutt, you can literally demolish the average american house with your own fists, this is how bad american houses are, shitty and souless
I saw a national geographic special on your country, lol
gypsyland, i know it's fun to larp on an anonymous imageboard like all euros live in castles, but everything has a limit. sort yourself out
What's wrong with this? Did your mother give you chlorox when you were a baby?
almost all suburbs are soules car maintend facades, very different from the rest of the world.
There's no defending British housing. It's aesthetically and structurally inferior. Australian housing, much like everything else, is better than both yank and pom housing.
American homes can only be awful since they're inhabited by americans
>tf
>tp
checks out, ha!
this looks basically identical to the US bruce
yeah but we don't have tornadoes here so building wood houses isn't illogical like it is in flyover country
Theres nothing structurally inferior about bricks
*ahem*
fires from hell itself that turn most of your country to ash
cope
wtf, they don't have sidewalks in australia?
keep looking like a warm hemisphere ohio
they have some
Australians are desert yanks
we don't claim them, they're all yours. commonwealth scum
there's nothing wrong with aussies, I like those pacific americans, pity about their surrendering their freedom to own guns though
It's pure cope. Pic I took of the Netherlands. City center rent is insane and only rich people can afford it. Working class euros live in ugly commie blocks and still pay over a 1000 euro a month for it in Randstad.
the lettering on the top of that ugly square building makes this look like the former soviet union
do you think thirty years from now when china is all built up and new they'll look at america the same way we look at europe
often when I visit my state capital there are 9000 chinese taking pictures of the inside of its dome
I think it's already like that. The russian guy on pol who was trying to escape china and live streamed all of it was on pristine crisp 5g connection. Even when he went on the bullet train it didnt cut out or lag at all. You could see in the background rural china, and I was shocked that even rural regions have 5g and bullet trains. Rural regions here dont even have proper internet access, they have to rely on third world tier connections with DSL/Sattelite.
the middle of nowhere ND has 150mbs
Should we discuss seriously or not? If so, the let me set some standards:
compare a suburb houses to suburb houses
and apartment blocks to apartment blocks
else It'll be a worthless discussion.
I did exactly that, homes from small towns in neighborhoods of similar density, the british seem to predominantly employ terrace homes, so that comes up most often on random sampling
similarly conducted in the US
Do people not know that tornadoes don't give a shit about above ground structures?
America bad
This street in England has more soul than all of USA together
like our soul just fine thanks
