doesnt your government subsidise all kinds of corn stuff? why dont you eat corn

Does it have more to do with panic buying or supply chain disruption?

And finally, the toilet paper isle

>Velveeta? Sorry, I'd rather eat toilet paper.

why should grocery supply collapse due to a virus?
it's only retards panic buying that are responsible for empty shelves

My grocery store was mostly full except tortillas lmao, the tortilla shelf was almost wiped out and the toilet paper shelf too

For Germany, the extremely long wait at the German-Polish border right now (largely due to Poland not being able to ramp up inspection quickly) could constrain some food product supplies for the next few weeks.

Poland already opened the borders again

mexican food gives you the shits, no wonder

Priorities are first

Panic buying exclusively. Supply chains haven't been affected by this at all.

My local supermarket just ran out of eggs it seems. Toilet paper aisle was alright.

wait ... didn't they take the shelves too? because here, yes.

/mlp/ was here

Grocery stores: empty
Fat reserves: overcapacity

we didn't

How were they not stopped?

it's walmart right? Just buy ammuntion and hold at gunpoint people packing stuff into their cars in parking lot

Attached: 1549145770483.jpg (1630x1272, 195.5K)

But they have guns too...

>American supermarket
>only person in clear sight is a fattie
kek

what state you live in?

They don't sell guns at this one

Attached: leeres-regal-edeka.jpg (1440x1080, 291.98K)

i know that they stopped selling guns but they still sell ammo right?
+ you're not already carrying a gun? why not, i'd carry gun in US just becasue i could

Doesn't matter what state you're in

Is keeping gun like that legal?

i doubt many people have guns on them in states like washington or california

You've got eggs right there

keep doubting
>gets shot

>gets shot back
what now partner

thanks for the fuckinf update had no idea stores were emptying

The hoarding idiots have done their hoarding here now. All shops are back to normal. Thank fuck.

I see eggs

Yas Forums loves a good smartmart thread

Georgia. It's a crapshoot whether you'll get shot or not.

mmm goga gola :-DD

this isnt anime, after you get shot you dont shot back, i emptied the mag on your ugly mug

*wears ceramic plates*
uh oh, what now

the element of surprise is with the mugger, people thinking they could shoot back at that point is pure wet dream fantasy.

This. Could finally buy asswipe and pasta again.

>local supermarkets decide to open over an hour later without warning
>hundreds of boomers packed around the entrances for over an hour
>five minutes after opening, shelves have been cleared
>greedy boomer cunts pushing out trolleys with large packs of toilet paper
I want both upper management for the supermarkets and those boomers to fucking die. I was beyond seething having to stand around for that long only to see everything I was after no longer left after I was allowed in, after the boomers were let in first.

where do you live? i didnt check walmart but my local grocery store has everything except toilet paper. only problems are with keeping the shelves stocked all the time

Post pics of the vegan section, I wanna see if it's like Texas.

Here they set a "2 per customer" sign up over the toilet paper. That fixed the problem.

>waiting in line
>see fat boomerette coming out with 2 maxi packs of TP in each hand
>no food, just TP
>she waited in the queue for this

>3 to 6 dollarinos a pack of cereals
What the actual fuck

is that a lot?
those are the prices here but our economy is very socialistic so all imports cost more.

>he fell for the america is cheap meme

I'm pretty sure it was limited to one large pack per customer but the problem was that it looked like every old cunt in town was down there this morning and they all grabbed one, decimating the supply.
The funny thing though was that while all of the checkouts had old cunts queued with trolleys, the self serve section didn't have a line up at all, because a lot of older people here have this mindset of either it is offensive to have to serve yourself or that they refuse to learn how.

velveeta sells good, but it has to be used in combination with other things

yeah I went to 3 different supermarkets to look for stuff this morning. its really happening.

dumb Walsharters didn't enforce any restrictions on the limit people are allowed to buy. i went to Aldi and boom, toilet paper. boom, sanitizer. boom, whatever I needed. boom.
just because the store manager at Aldi had the common sense to enforce limits people can buy
boom

"home brand" in hard-discounts (ie, Lidl selling cereals from Lidl) can be as low as 1€ or 2€/kg.
comparable prices (maybe 0.30€ higher) in classic retails like Carrefour, Intermarché, Hyper U, Leclerc...

The highest I've seen for cerals is from foreign trademarked brands with 3€/kg.

Friends who did an exchange semester in the university of Michigan did tell me life was very expensive, but I didn't imagine it to be that bad. Even Iceland was cheaper.

At least you could still go around, there's a lockdown here and the cops are nosy as fuck, they ask what you're doing outside and why you're not wearing those placebo surgical mask that doesn't even work.

some supermakets did that in Paris. There was no real shortage elsewhere, though.
Most supermarkets also decided to only let old boomers in their first hours of opening.

I haven't hoarded much, and during the week I had to search for minced meat, toilet paper and bread. It's looking better now.

Capitalism cannot feed the poor

$7.40 for a measly sleeve of crackers?
That's Canada tier overpriced.

looks like there's plenty of unneeded packaging

It's cheese

> Marshmallows for Breakfast
Do Americans really?

It's not cheese. It's pasteurized prepared cheese product.

That’s freedom fromage

Really... panic buying barney toys while the world is ending?

The bag that girl is holding is around 1.15kg, desu.

6$ for 1.15kg is a bit silly when French LIDL has the same thing for 2€/kg.

Yes.
