All numbers aren't reflective of the actual situation because everyone is calculating the numbers differently. There are estimates that the UK figure is at least 50k infected and China will probably face a second wave of infections. Hopefully they don't declare victory and are then forced to cover up the disease's resurgence.

In Wuhan regular people are not allowed to leave their house for anything. They used to allow volunteers to transport medical supplies but it kept spreading. They used to let people out quickly to go to the store but it kept spreading. They used to let people go to the hospital but it kept spreading, and the hospitals got overloaded. The only thing that dropped new case numbers was disabling people from even leaving their houses for about 3 weeks. Public Transport was completely shut down. Only doctors, nurses, army, and police are allowed to move about. If you get discharged, you report back to your home and remain under intense quarantine. Even most local government officials were completely stopped from moving.
People keep going on about preppers being retarded (and they if they are literally blowing their entire wages and savings on this right now) but just be aware of what Wuhan did. The "lockdown" the rest of the world has seen is nothing compared to what Wuhan had to do to finally stop it.
