The presence of Catholics and Spanish churches in the US isnt really that important to your international image. From a European Catholic perspective, American Catholics are Protestant-ized by being assimilated into American culture. They're monolingual in English by the 2nd generation, they believe in Liberalism, they act and think like Americans.
