Wine is not that cheap here actually since it's all imported, it's more expensive than in med countries for example, what is really cheap here is locally produced beer or vodka.

Since I was raised with wine* I'm biased, but wine always felt more diverse for me than beer. Corn beer, wheat beer, premium beer, they kinda... taste the same, the red and black ones taste a bit different but that's it.

I've never been to Finland but in Sweden I could get normal wine for about 80 SEK which is around 7,32 euro

Never heard of Carlo rossi. If you don't wanna spend too much but get an at least ok wine go for a 5 euro Chianti or some Chilean wines, some of them are not too bad. Just avoid wines from Emilia and Veneto and those under 12.5% alcohol as a rule.

So far my favourite regions are Argentina, Chile, Georgia, and recently Hungary. Also Korean fruit wines but it's another matter.
