waste of time

>why aren't you retarded?
idk I'm not american I guess

I'm thinking about it. Seems like a nice life reset away from the modern bullshit

I did

My parents wouldn't let me

i have iq above 85

YES CLETUS MCSHARTY YES, JOIN US YOU'LL BE A HERO IN YOUR TRAILER PARK

Attached: ARE troops.jpg (1000x600, 164.46K)

No army.

I have problems with authority.

Already did

Thank you for your service

You’re welcome

i was thinking for joining foreign legions after graduation from bachelors but then I got a job that gives me 180k/year, so there is no real need to do that

because i don't want to get shot in some middle eastern or african shithole. Also i don't live in a place where that's the only way i can get money for college

post paystub larper

It’d help you get a gf

youtu.be/Kuc--F_fl-w

DO you incel really think I would post paystub on this incel board so that you can find some minute detail to doxx me? Do you think its worth the risk?

Got my doctor to write me the necessary documents to exempt me from conscription.

The closest I ever gotten to the military was that I was an air cadet for 4 years.

Yes, she is next. Main concern till now was to get a good job, now girl, then better job.

couldn't pass the psych test. prob the doctor thought i was going to blow my head off since i was pretty depressed

Also, very nice song

Too old

I unfortunately got selected for the draft, but there's still time to get discharged due to medical conditions.

based

I did and I hate it

physical requirements

Attached: 1550699556644.jpg (976x988, 79.65K)

Too unfit. I’m 100kg and only 190cm, none of which is muscle. British Army standards are ridiculous, they expect you to run like 5 miles in under 10 minutes, literal superman stuff. No wonder they struggle to get recruits desu

I'm gonna shoot you in your shithole

I’m not cut out to be a bootlicking drone

I did and it was mostly a shitty experience. The only thing that made it worth it was the GI Bill afterward.
With the free tuition, housing allowance and book allowance, I probably got 60k+ in free money from the government after I got out.

Got drafted, so I changed my status as a volunteer hope it's not too bad.
Do it, we'll be doing it at the same time :D

>they expect you to run like 5 miles in under 10 minutes
I don't think this is possible. That's 1 km in 75 seconds.

>they expect you to run like 5 miles in under 10 minutes
Not physically possible and no they don't. If you can run a 6 minute mile then you're considered one of the good runners. 5 miles in 30 minutes is impressive

I'm too fucking skinny to be usefull for any state force.

So was I. I was 130 pounds when I tried to join. They laughed and told me to gain weight and come back when I did. So I gained 15 or so pounds and then joined

I did

Because I was rejected by the military recruit office for my being diagnosed with several mental illness.

I'm short, my school graduation grades were bad, I'm not fit at all (I've never had much interest in physical activity), I have allergies and used to have asthma, I assume they'd decide against me after the job interview.

Multiple disqualifying medical conditions :-/

Obesity, diabetis and heart arrhythmia i assume? xD

>Underfunded
>Recruiters do nothing to weed out the rabid idiots who join before they get kicked out anyway, not even at cadet stage
>Veteran came in, told me "they'd never allow kids with scruffy hair in the cadets" in his day, which was mildly amusing
>Until he went over to the indian dude and said how they'd never allow indians in the military in his day
>Wut, yes they would
>Did the same thing to one of the female cadets, under the same spiel
>And then just another white kid, under the guise of him supposedly being Inuit
>And then to a chair
>When we tried to snap him out of his tearful PTSD/Alzheimers episode, we got chewed out
>Heavily
>While this elderly guy continued lecturing the settee
>Oblivious to some war movie imitator nearly give himself an aneurym shouting
>Other cadets were staring straight forward
>Doing absolutely fuck all
>If I were to join as an adult, I'd have these yes men watching my back

TL;DR Got chewed out for trying to stop a veteran lecturing furniture, realised the folly of the command structure

I don’t want to die for corporations and America-Israel like an idiot.

I wish I could have done that, but I have a condition or some shit and gaining weight is too dificult for me

I’m hopefully going to get into ROTC and eventually commission

>why didn't you join the military?
Why didn't I want to get a job that pays horribly, means few hours at home, extremely long work hours and shitty conditions all while pretending I can actually "protect" a country that willingly lets in rapists and terrorists by the thousands?
Jeez, I don't know. Sounds like such a good deal.

We have mandatory conscription, but just a few actually get selected to serve in the army for a period of 1 year I think. I had to do the vow/oath/pledge like every male in the year you turn 18 but got dismissed from service like everyone in my city.

Damn Sven, stop being a doomer. You're not even from Germany, you can still save your country. Sweden > Germany

>you can still save your country
Too late for that.

I was in the Marines for 5 years but not sure if it was the best decision

My grandfather advised against it, and also I wasn't impressed with the culture of the people I would rub shoulders with in an active duty setting. That's not to say that I wouldn't join a reserve unit.

Would you consider that an elite soldier? Hollywood might have given me a false impression on the USMC, so idk.

I talked with recruiters for the navy when I was 16 and was really interested, but then I went schizo, so I am probably exempt. Now I wouldn't even think of joining the C*nadian *rmed F*rces.

Cause no war is a good war at this time in... time...

>why didn't you join the military?
I'm not retarded.

you don't want to drive leopards?

Was a conscript for a year and it was pretty damn fun all things considered. Definitely the best year of my life.

is that basically condensed boy scout training? of course, the only weapons we handled in the boy scouts were high powered rifles, shotguns, and compound bows.

I wouldn't say elite but our physical standards are higher than the other branches

I don't like following orders, and I like my back and knees too much.

there it is

it's fun and games until you actually go into the battlefield
