What's funny is that before it ended the guy overlooking my placement told me he'd give me a call so I waited for his call for a couple of weeks and when he called he just told me to go get myself on the registrar. Then I got sick so I waited another week and now I went to do that last Monday. I'll see the placement as a soul searching experience lmao

you could also try and sell yourself to small businesses. I read a guy on /g/ once who convinced old people running some local business that they needed an IT guy, and his job iirc was just to take backups of all the systems, and he would do random things for them. Like, if they stored documents about company profits etc, he would have them backed up to a local centralized machine. I forget what he made exactly but his job was basically doing nothing, and the old people didn't understand what he was doing exactly so his job was pretty free
