Many Japan threads on this board for sure but we cant have any positive "based" or "comfy" Japan thread anymore. I already gave up on it but want to know, why are things like this now? Almost all Japan threads are actually negative threads.
Is it because Japanese stuff is too normie now and you have to be edgy and a contrarian or are you genuinely influenced by western media describing Japan as an evil far-right degenerate country? Even Mutts can still have some positive mutt threads. We actually barely have shitty anime threads anymore.

Western Media literally doesn't do that though The only point of contention not brought up by Korea/China is the Yasukuni Shrine, which If I was Japanese I would dislike that war criminals are enshrined there because it spoils the honor of all the other war dead.
