Trying to find an answer to question what programming language would be hte best to get into if I want to make a game.
I don't want to use a game maker.
But it seems to me that people try to troll me by suggesting to learn specifically C.
Fucking Quake II was made with C. It was who knows how many years ago.
I am sure people use something else nowdays.
There is probably some language that could be considered a standard for game development but I need to know which and also resources that aimed to train you to make stuff in it specifically for game development.
