> leave hundreds of years of folk religion, customs and spoken traditions in favour of an autistic German man's ramblings of an Abrahamic sand religion forcefully intermediated by the cuck Swedes
What the hell went wrong, Finland?
Lutheranism is the true cause of autism, as you see in Germany, Netherlands and the Nordic countries
Finnish mythology is far from such LARP as Varg, it is documented oral tradition
Ian Russell
no religion > Lutheranism > Catholicism
Carson Torres
There is not much left about finnish mythology except karelian stuff. Finnish shamanism is long dead and there is not much information left and what is known is from swedoid sources that couldn't make differense between finns and sámis.
William Hughes
We need to go sami

Carter Parker

Christopher Clark
Finland has always been the smallest country in the nordics except for iceland. It took 200 years in total to swedes conquer all the tribes during crusades which were constantly fighting each other.
Gavin Garcia

>Stay pagan because you prefer the stories and mythology. Or >Become Christian and actually get a chance to gain respect and recognition amongst the other European powers. Gee I wonder which one the leaders of old prioritized, it's almost as if they lived in another harsher time in history when you had to put the well-being of their people before their preference in fairytales. Did you not see what happened to the Lithuanians?
Parker Foster
Lönnrot was Finnish. He actually had to learn swedish.
Caleb Ortiz
You should have replaced our language as well
Joseph Walker
I'm sure there were those who tried.
Lincoln Williams
Hundreds of years of war between finns novgorod and sweden What happened in the end was natural and right

I think he means that Finnish nobles spoke swedish. There were no nobles that spoke Finnish because we were part of sweden and if you wanted to succeed you'd have to speak swedish. This was how fen swedes came to exist. It was swedish speaking fennomanics that started to break that down during russian rule so that Finnish can be language of power.
There are probably about the same amount of people here would like nothing more than to go and piss on this man's grave than there are people who adore him.
Angel Gonzalez
Wait, what? Are you saying that swedish speaking finns started to sabotage swedish voluntarily? As opposed to being run over by the finnish speakers
Blake Brooks
They literally boast about how they started sucking on Abrahamic dick 150 years before the finns and then attacked the finns for their papal overlords. Pathetic.
Im not sure, sorry. I think its finns who have spread out across scandinavia and not vice versa
Easton Campbell
Interesting. That name always stood out as goofy
Cooper Thomas
Have you read history? Fennoswedes dropped from 15% to 5% in a few decades and they've always had similar fertility rates to Finns. Modern fennoswedes are the minority who didn't switch to Finnish.
Zachary Lewis
Finns blend in with both Swedes and Estonians, but if you look carefully you see Sweden is loaded with Finns while there are no true Swedes in Finland.
Bootlicking low-born who sucks up to literal murderers who would spit on you for being of the common class.
I agree with the white sentiment and the outcome of civil war but i have nothing but contempt for that mand if you would've actually read anythign about him you'd know he was a complete asshole and bottom of the barrel drunkard and a sodomite.
Im not an expert on this, no. Im not sure why i would be.
Aiden Wright
1/3 of Finnish immigrants to Sweden were Fenno-Swedes. They didn't just drop because of assimilation.
Carter Parker
What's funny? He's right. Finnish mythology was recorded by an academic, Norse by clergymen.
Leo Moore

>Mikael Agricola (Finnish: [ˈmikɑel ˈɑɡrikolɑ] (About this soundlisten); c. 1510 – 9 April 1557) was a Lutheran clergyman who became the de facto founder of literary Finnish and a prominent proponent of the Protestant Reformation in Sweden, including Finland, which was a Swedish territory at the time. He is often called the "father of literary Finnish".

The eight-armed giant Starkad was a Finn. >Olaus Magnus' cites the story of Starkad from Gesta Danorum. He disputes Saxo about origin of the hero and informs that Starkad was from the nation of Tavastians, 'Starchaterum Thauestum'.[12] Finns have an amazing past full of untold wonders. We are just scratching the surface here.
