is this a big concert? what. why everyoe turn into a bike
really good.
at least way better than here
cold, gray, rain, a lot of wind, no nature, flat, massive housing market crisis, lots of immigrants in cities, ugly cities, expensive, no good work, government only cares about sucking off multinationals and the list goes on
All Dutchman are bikes.
no just near the central train station, its parking for bikes
nail on the head basically, at least we have tall girls and thats a good thing because I have a tall girl fetish
What do you want to know fren :3
How did the Dutch government successfully convince the populace to turn into bikes?
way better than sweden at least
They just kept placing more and more bicycle parking racks everywhere, at some point people just couldn't resist the temptation anymore.
>Deze gleuf is voor mij gemaakt
So we parked ourselves, and by then it was too late.
How do you find your bike when you come back?
We don't, we just grab a random bike with the universally shared key.
We only have negative image against Netherlands.
>drugs
>prostitution
>racist
>no nature
What does that mean? Are there zero forests in the netherlands?
Ironic that the country with extreme xenophobia calls other countries racist, your work ethic is shit too so it doesn't surprise me.
Actually we're too occupied with conserving nature/farmland to the point we're having a housing crisis.
fuming that we do more work in measly 38 hours than you do in a 80 hour work week while being permanently high

The Dutch butcher really hates the German Butcher in town. Good thing he's too old to do anything about it. I'd hate to see him end up in jail.
Bump
Nice try wite boi, I'm still moving in
>drugs
Not really as big of a problem as you might think. It is not like we're all a bunch of drug-addicts
>prostitution
Mostly contained in Amsterdam
>racist
Not really except for a few villages inhabited by incestuous fishermen
Don't just base your views of a country with close to 20 million people in it on a few internet-stereotypes, Yamato-kun.
how is any of that negative?
>
Even with their own roads and their own traffic signals cyclists are still assholes that think they can ignore traffic signals.
Meh
Yes. After these motions we turn into bikes.

Note the flags, though. This is basically Yas Forums: the party.
I was a Spanish soldier in the Netherlands when those lands were under Spanish rule. They were very polite at first, and most supported us and were loyal to the king of Spain, but suddenly they began to read things that someone wrote on the doors of the churches and began to attack the Spaniards. Dutch women, on the other hand, always remained nice with us.
good summary, life in the netherlands is good if you want to live in amsterdam/randstad and don't care about nature. i'd argue that dutch cities are kind of aesthethically pleasing though

Are you going to gain ground to the sea in that area of water at once? Some of that I have read.
I once got called a yankee terrorist by an Okinawan man.
We already did
Traffic signals don't apply on cyclists
Only traffic lights and if there is specifically stated no bikes
Heard you faggots put mayo on French fries and you drown them in that shit
They all move to Belgium because life is so shit there

>Antwerp
How is that better? I've been to Borgerhout... it's even worse than what we have in our cities
Claustrophobic. People are fucking tall and everything is tiny as hell. Everyone is autistic and obnoxious but still a goddamn normie, trying so hard to be as normie as possible despite raging Germanic autism. Weather is squalid, nature uninspiring and nonexistent. Most people leave the country for every possible vacation to harass people all over the globe and especially to flock skiing spots in the Alps and camping spots in France. Everyone is cucked by American media and culture and patriotism is at an all-time low, but still people manage to maintain a horribly smug superiority complex over people from other countries. Food is substandard, and for that reason the Dutch ravaged Indonesia to get some spices that are overused in "Dutch" food. Cloves are added in even sausages, giving them a disgusting gingerbread cookie taste. Foreigners are flocking the country, and most universities are full-on catering to foreign students, with almost no courses in Dutch. Everyone pretends to be ultra liberal but hates foreigners and shows it implicitly
Then why are you all moving here? It's really a plague. 1/10 people in Lanaken is dutch already. Mostly rich tax avoiders trying to benefit from our "we don't tax the sale of your shares" policy and better housing prices are the main cause.
Really so many dutch people come here. It's in the news every so often.
Because the Dutch are retarded I guess.
This guy explains it really well.
Still the best country to life in Europe.
(never lived in Scandinavia, but heard it is quite depressing)
Formally moved there last month. Pretty comfy, but expensive. Once I have a car I'll probably do groceries whenever I'll visit my mom in Germany, so like every other week. Many things are pretty expensive there, especially toiletries.
People who complain about life here don't know how good their lives actually are.
after living here for 9 months i can honestly say that this country just isn't for me. going to live here for the next 18 months and then never coming back
Where are you from?
finland
what's wrong?
basically everything listed here except the last two as im a student i'm from a small town in finland so living in a tiny apartment in the middle of the city with absolutely zero opportunities to escape the city is just so depressing. at least here in my city the international students and dutch people live very segregated lives, i havent made any dutch friends (or havent even gotten to know any dutch people) and out of all the non-dutch people, well so far i haven't really gotten too close with anyone. doesn't help either that im older and more mature than most people i go to university with
what's your major?
Maybe try Germany friend.
I really like Germany despite it being memed as a dystopian hellhole.
Hamburg can be quite nice, same for Lübeck if you prefer small cities.
do you appreciate Finland more after living in The Netherlands?
I have lived in Germany, Switzerland and Japan and am going back to Germany this year.
If there's one thing I learned is no place is perfect.. and of course the "perfect" place anyway comes down to what you're looking for. Some people would love to live in Tokyo... for me it was a bit too much...
You need to go back.
I imagine it's like life anywhere, except it's below sea level.
Just bee yourself more.
law, i don't know really, i'm just going to get my bachelor's degree here and then hopefully move on with my life. not sure if germany would be just more of the same for me really.
i'm just starting to think that "city life" isn't for me after all, at least not as a student when i feel like i'm not in control of my own destiny and feel so restricted to one place. even though everywhere i've gone people speak english, the language is a big factor too and i have to admit that i haven't even tried to learn it yet as i feel like i have no real motivation for it.
yes and no, on one hand i do now appreciate some things from finland a lot more than before. i was already depressed back "home" in finland already, but there i managed to find some moments of peace where i could actually feel myself happy for a moment. having your own place where you actually feel like staying for a while is such a huge factor with your personal happiness that i never fully realized before moving in here. the fact that i'm moving next summer to another, hopefully more spacious apartment on the outskirts of the city is already giving me anxiety even though i barely have any stuff here with me
sorry pekka i'm not coming back for anything more than summer and christmas holidays with my family
sounds like germany. Why did you every leave us if you continue doing the same anyways
>Everyone is autistic and obnoxious but still a goddamn normie, trying so hard to be as normie as possible despite raging Germanic autism
the definition of modern Germany
>Germany, Switzerland and Japan and am going back to Germany this year.
Why? Switzerland in Germany but with more money
it is a cemetery. dutch people don't completely die. they turn into bikes, so their relatives could still ride them.
more money but everything is more expensive so probably the same.
man isnt it crazy that just 60 years ago even adults used bicycles and now nobody does more than 2km on a bike to get anywhere?
people here used to do a 30 minute car trip on bike
