English words spelled in Greek look silly
Brayden Hall
"h" transliterated as "г" looks even more silly. ХOЧEШЬ ГAMБУPГEP ДPУЖE :DDDDD ДA, ХOЧУ ГAMБУPГEP MMMMMM :DDD
Noah Nguyen
That has to do with the fact that respective consonants in Russian and English sound differently and there is no good way to cyrillicise it Though, I do agree that some English words sound silly - especially zoomer lang - cлaтшeйминг, виктимблeйминг, гaзлaйтинг in comparison to words which are now well-established лeнч, вoкзaл, кeкc, лoбби, хyлигaн

*Mein Rucksack ist schwer "schwerig" is not a word. In case you meant "schwierig": that word is not used when it's about the actual weight of a thing. "schwierig" more or less means "difficult".
>Es wurde in Studien gezeigt dass Arbeitslosigkeit erschwerende Gesundheitsprobleme verursachen kann. I thought about this sentence for a long time and finally came to the conclusion that your solution is fine. But note that you don't need the passive voice here just like the original sentence: Studien haben gezeigt... (Also always put a comma before dass) *konntest du mich hier an (wüst ist not wrong but einsam or trostlos or even gottverlassen [at least in writing] would be more fitting here)

J'ai un briquet rouge. Mon sac à dos est lourd. Je ne sais pas où sont mes clés de voiture.
Voudriez-vous (voudrais-tu) rencontrer mon beau-père? Des études ont montré que le chômage provoque une augumentation des problèmes de santé. Comment as-tu (avez-vous) pu me laisser seul (seule) dans cet endroit désert? J'avais tellement peur.

Learning (Castillian) Spanish, bros. I have exactly one year to become damn near fluent. I did not take any language courses at my university and now all of the masters programs I'm looking at require one. So I'm going 100% at it and looking to create a program that will help me do it. I'm not choosing Spanish because it's supposedly easy or anything, I genuinely want to learn it.
Anyway, best apps to get? Any good podcasts and is Pimsleur the best for tapes or is something better?
I have a wife that speaks it so it's a built in free tutor. Also, I like how versatile it is as I can go to a lot of places and speak it. Spanish history is fucking based and speaking the language of Based Cortes is awesome. Also cool literature from Cervantes to Borges and others. Also, when I finally get really good at it I'll be learning Portuguese and go from there with the Romance languages.

>Si seulement je pouvais avoir une bonne nuit de sommeil, je pourrais finir ma redáction, mais ces maudits chiens n'arrêtent pas de aboyer! Rédaction * and "d'aboyer" But, imo, this sentence doesn't sound right in French, I would have written it with the 'temps composés'. =>si seulement j'avais pu (...), j'aurais pu (...) n'ont pas arrêté. Does another French think like me ?
>Il s'est installé dans le fauteuil près de la cheminée et il a ouvert impatiemment le livre, désireux de savoir ce qui s'est passé ensuite. Correct. You could also have used the 'passé simple' here if you'd want : => il s'installa / il s'assit (...) il ouvrit. But then again, wouldn't it make more sense to have a 'futur simple' verb at the end ? => ce qu'il se passera ensuite
>La obscurité était presque tombé quand Elise enfin est arrivée a la maison. Elle a frappé à la grande porte, mais personne n'a répondu. L'obscurité était presque tombée. Again you could have also chosen 'passé simple => était tombée (...) arriva (...) frappa (...) répondit
