why do people say their food sucks? they produce high quality fish and thus good fish dishes
Why do people say their food sucks? they produce high quality fish and thus good fish dishes
i don't know and i don't care
i don't know and i don't care
Food is the hallmark of a wog concern
your food is good too nigel
Get out of my country Mutt.
i'm a foodie and you're not
thank you for saying something positive about our fish.
Only Norway and iceland
We basically copy all scandi and german food besides maybe shark
We have some of our own, but admittedly it's pretty boring considering herbs are limited in this climate so it's mostly just salt and other easily imported seasonings.
Not that we don't have natural herbs here like ramson for example, but people aren't great at using them.
>rotten fish spiced with bleach
>ah, what a delicacy!
Why are wh**s like this?
True, what is Swedish fish? It's either the candy or Surstrømming....................
f-france..
Scandi food seems to have a lot of dill.
dude let's just not eat this fish now and let it ferment for months LMOA
I'm fairly sure Sweden has abundant freshwater-fish like us. Besides the Baltic Sea has plenty of fish as well but unfortunately they're too toxic for regular consumption.
Dill is great but we many other herbs are also native. People just don't use them for whatever reason.
>People just don't use them for whatever reason.
Exactly, like ramson which is great herb for making fresh sauces or pesto but most people don't even know what it is.
>they produce high quality fish
true
>and thus good fish dishes
false
I think thats what we call wild garlic.
Gravlax and their fish soup are both good.
>false
You're in the wrong there mate. I remember mentioning fish soup on Yas Forums and all the continental started screeching that it's shit food because they don't know how to prepare it. Nordics prepare excellent fish dishes, the best in the world for their type of fish.
I've had Finnish fish soup, or at least fish soup made by a finn. It was white and very tasty.
>Norway Salmon
>high quality fish
the french are pro at fish soup, please do not embarass yourselves
explain
Continentals should stop embarrassing themselves with their obvious cultural chauvinism. Nords can easily acknowledge the greatness of other cuisines but you throw a hissy fit at the mere suggestion that Nords might be slightly better than you at something.
This, in fact swedish food is positively tasty, they use a lot of nice interesting fermented and picked things and flavours that are exotic to us. Shame they eat so many plain peeled boiled potatoes though, think that's what throws people off
and there it is
took you long enough
nothing wrong with that, why can't anglos handle fermented foods?
Don't really have many fermented foods here, historically we mainly smoked or pickled things. Fish especially was always smoked to preserve it
>he hasn't tried saltfiskur with potatoes and hamsatólg
Do Norwegians and Icelanders have early harvest potatoes as well or is it just a Finnish/Swedish thing?
why do you harvest them early?
My family has a potato garden in the backyard of our other house, it's not big but the harvest was very good
they're way better than what you get at the store and it's feels nice to grow things, top comfy
oh and we harvested them late, late september because we put them in the ground so late in summer
Any retard can grow potatoes
t. retard who grows potatoes
yes off course
duh because you want potatoes before the main harvest is ready? heard of tidligpotet?
Never heard of that. Does it taste any different?
>tidligpotet
These exactly. It's hard to talk about them because anglos don't seem to have a term for them nor do they eat them.
based retard
its not really a different type they are just given extra care to shorten growth season as much as possible so they can be for sale already in may sometimes
We call them early potatoes or just earlies and of course we eat them
The only proper food in here is done by immigrants. Scandinavian cuisine is a disgrace.
>smuggles 10year old meat from sweden and mix it with roadkill
>cum in the sauce
>mmm this kebab is so good
their food sucks ass, we are superior in every way
When I googled it for english translation I got "ramson", but it's a part of the onion family so wild garlic is probably the common name. You can find it pretty much all over northern-Europe I think, including british isles.
I don't know a single Romanian dish. Any to recommend?
unseasoned boiled meat cubes
Human blood, preferably served at 37 degrees.
disgrace is having to run away from your homeland achmed
That some kind of kofte?
gypsy shit?
its similar with cevapi but we have the best version in the balkans
we have those too, they're meatballs
Looks good. Will try to make it
Despite the memes this is very good.
man this looks good
Can't go too far wrong with fish and bread
Yes but the name and the cross-section pictures (it's not meant to be eaten like that) turn people off.
