I’ve never had a job

$20/hr, so not really, but it's a start.

Decent pay $28/hr

90k/yr

My life is pointless and I look at myself in the mirror and wonder what happened. Where did the enthusiasm go. Where is my curiosity.

you got comfortable

I never earned a single cent in my life
I'm 24

fuck you bitches i make 11 an hour

Nigga I'm unemployed lmaoooo
T. doctor

But you chose to be unemployed. Not by choice.

>job

no, i don't care about money

You and I are feathers of a kind

Yes, higher than anything in the thread so far
Software engineer

Six digits?

no i hahven't even finished highschool i can't even get a job at MCDONALDS !!!!

MODS

An appointment with a GP ranges from 30 to 200 pesos. If I worked 8 hours a day I'd still make less than the local mechanic that charges 200 pesos per task.
This after seven years of university, internship and social service. The only way to make 10k*month is by becoming a specialist, doing an exam where 1/5 are selected.
The only thing that keeps me from starving are online surveys and product testing. This place is a fucking hellhole with zero future.

wait no i'm almost 20
i just failed several years cus i was (still am) severely depressed and skipped classes a lot

Yes

What the fuck? Doctors here are rich AF. Starting at 3k/month fresh out of uni and easily getting up to 8k/month after specializing on something

i feel rich because im frugal as fuck buti only make $34-50k a year, most of it coming from a fellowship stipend and the rest being from working summers as a research assistant or at an internship. i should make over $100k when i get a job after i graduate and i have no clue how i will spend all that money. probably will just save up for a nice house and then hoard it in savings and retirement funds

Yes. One of the many benefits of living in America. Looking to retire by 30.

Use an FHA mortgage on a triplex, live in one unit for a year, and then rent the rest out.
3.5% down required and 600 credit score.
There is no excuse for being poor in the United States besides being lazy.

I get about 49k for inspecting medical gas systems in Midwestern hospitals.

I'm 32. I don't know if that answers your question.

i dont doubt that would be a good idea, but i am too autistic and paranoid to be a landlord. i will save it just incase i change though

$300/month

That isn't true at all.

It's completely true

There are companies that will collect rent and talk to tenants for a fee every month. Don't expect to earn more than paying for your mortgage, though

As of now the only way I could get a 10k*month job would be taking a spot as rural doctor for the SSA. 20 to 40 appointments per day with overly complicated patients that barely speak spanish. The thing is most amerindian towns have no police, lynchings are common, so is organized crime and because of the rich Dr stereotype you can get kidnapped by local cartel. I lived that fucking hell through my social service and there is no damned way I'll willingly repeat it. Fuck that shit.

yes but im questioning whether the petty stress is worth it

I make like 4k€ a month and have money invested into funds so mid-paying job + investments = sort of high paying right?

Yeah, I don't know how long it will last though, since it's with a meme startup.
I'm pretty frugal, so I hope to make enough passive income by the time everything goes bust.

what are some of the high paying careers in the UK?

i earn $71k

which is a very good salary for someone my age in the uk.

in the us its fairly mediocre right?

Go ahead and tell that to people who need to travel far from their subdivision to get a job at McDonald's.

Good for you. I'd never discount your accomplishments. Just don't be an entitled little asswipe about it.

finance nd engineering
$70k upwards is high paying by uk standards

probably not by american ones. but we are a poorer country

I started 20 above that out of uni, but while for software dev it's not unreasonable, for most majors it will take a while

I make 54k per year by get berated by surgeons for a living.

Used to, but they fired me last Friday for feeding cats at work.

Tfw made 6 figs out of college at a hedge fund

Tfw I quit my job because no amount of money is worth sacrificing your youth and mental energy

You been working at zoo?

from everything you've posted, i don't think there is a single person ITT who doesnt discount all of your accomplishments

i dont think CS grads make much here until they are on managerial levels

only finance seems very lucrative in the uk.

No. I created and marketed a successful product and made enough money to live on for the rest of my life, though. "Jobs" are for fucking plebs.

Yeah CS is fucked outside of the USA, really

I make 2k euro/month net, it’s a good salary here. I Also have potential to raise it twice, but I doubt that it will make me happy

that is generally well off for a single salary in most of the US. only in the bigger cities would it be mediocre.

CS jobs are fucked inside the US as well due to cheap foreign labor in the guise of "professional" or "high skill" H1 visa workers. I can't imagine how shitty they pay in other countries if they're this bad already here.

2yr degree tho so no debt, plus in 5 years plus more 2 years of schooling i can make six figures to be a surgeons assman. How do you guys feel about someone from Yas Forums being inside your unconscious body?

that's higher than the median *family* income in the US. and more than double the median individual US income.

If you include the subhumans

All these jobs go to diversity hires, so no.

well in london its not a great salary but if youre in your 20s earning that much youre earning better than most of your peers

unfortunately they will just inherit houses worth 2 decades worth of earning
as i said i think it cs grads here make a fraction of what they do in the us

I am about to, AMA

yes but the average burger can afford a house

It's fine, as long as you don't watch anime.
Same was story for CS grads in Aus, Canada, etc. Too much red tape restricting free flow of capital

I just want a pretty, petite Korran, Indian or South American mestiza big butt waifu to keep me sane.

I don't watch it but I do masturbate to it

Gib opioids

Correct. You must include white subhumans in the list for that statistic to apply.

i dont think its red tape.
i think its just lower salaries in general + the uk isnt really a major IT hub so outside of fintech i cant see where the demand is

I'm a Jewish Republican, so include me

based brain drain

I want to live in america and get a tech job.

Canada sucks I can't take this frozen hellhole much longer
