no, that actually never occurred to me. i've mainly been stretching manually. I got a DTR about a year ago but didn't have enough skin to get it on reliably and gave up.
then I recently tried O-rings, which managed to keep my skin stretched over the glans completely, and after doing that I had enough skin to get the DTR on easily. I can't tell if I've actually grown new skin yet but the skin seems to wrinkle more and definitely stretches further than it used to. retaining with the ring seemed to help immensely.
