Let’s discuss and rate the potential success and failures of the Disney Princesses after obtaining political control of their respective nations
Political Success of Disney Princesses
In her first week as Queen, Elsa:
>forbade a highly advantages political marriage between her sister and the prince of an allied nation
>froze the entire kingdom in the middle of summer creating a massive supply and demand problem and no doubt killed every summer crop causing a massive famine
>nearly murdered the next in-line to succeed her, tried to abandon the country in its time of need
>severed ties with the countries biggest forge in trade partner, further ruining the economy and positioning the nations for war.
Three years later she would abandon her post to lead a foreign indigenous tribe and leave her emotionally damaged sister to deal with the nation’s problems.
Elsa probably went down in history as Arendel’s worst Queen in the span of just 3 years on the throne
How would Ana do as Queen? She didn’t receive the education that Elsa had, was largely ignored as a child, and her king was a reindeer fucking peasant raised by trolls
is this the thread?
Having been seen by the entire kingdom killing the Devil, Rapunzel is likely the messiah of a new religion
Ariel, Belle, Pocahontas, and Tiana well likely never ascend the throne, so they're off the hook.
Moana ended the great pause and returned the art of sailing to her people. She'll be revered.
I really don't like Elsa's travel look.
Isn't the whole point of sailing to find new homes to colonize?
WAIT
They kept Anna's white streak of hair in WiR2?
Why?
Why not?
it is now
I would say being the spawn of a flower grown from a magic drop of sunlight and born with the ability to heal any illness and reverse aging made her the messiah
Because she lost it at the end of the movie
It was pretty iconic to her look, user. I kinda wish they'd let her keep it at the end.
Disney doesn't know how to market Anna. Do you put her in her winter travel outfit? In her coronation ball gown? Her forest travel outfit? Queen dress? Pigtail braids? Updo? Hair down? White streak? They don't know what is iconic.
Belle taking the throne is a realistic possibility, we all know Pocahontas does, and Tiana just runs a restaurant
That’s because they took the Barbie Doll approach and made a million outfits for her.
What is interesting is how they market aurora. She doesn’t actually have a canon color for her dress and there are two versions of nearly every toy so you can buy her in blue or pink. You rarely see her in her peasant dress
Yeah, I’m terms of leadership, Moana is undoubtedly the most confident. Not to mention she was shown as being a capable leader in the beginning
Parks wigs for sure used to have the streak
Pretty sure Disney sees pink as the official colour. I was collecting the princess dolls a while back and I don't recall seeing a blue option.
didn't they change one of them before the movie was released because of racial complaints?
They made Tiana darker because her nose and lips were too small the trailer. I shit you not
Who would dare defy Queen Anna when she has a Goddess for a sister?
Elsa should never have given up the throne to Anna
She should have annexed the forest ducks
God-Queen Elsa could literally rule the world if she got over her anxiety and depression
anna at least gives a fuck about the populace
you give ten girls the exact same tweaked model, people are gonna notice.
Off topic, but I really love the faces of Ariel, Moana and Merida
>Mulan
>Princess
It's not the canonical Anna, it's the version of her that exists on the Oh My Disney website in-movie. Same as with all the other princesses, they're not the actual characters but representations of them.
>Want to add things from Tangled into fic
>Watching the animated series and it adds a ton of things to the setting including over Kingdoms and shakes up the geography
... I think I may just have to limit myself to just what's on film to preserve my sanity.
Also Pascal is best boy.
