If she's a good girl then Freeze's villainy is more tragic. She wouldn't want to take up his mantle and would get revenge via the law or something like becoming a hero herself.
Actually that sounds really neat.
If she's kinda a bitch then Freeze is more pathetic. This would be plain and boring.
If she's full 100% crazy yandere then she would be willing to destroy the world because her love is dead.

Long story short is that when Lex Luthor was handing out gifts to villains during Year of The Villain, he gave Victor a "cure" that would wipe away her illness but make her just like Victor. It was fine at first, until her emotions grew cold and she began to resent her husband for making all the decisions for her.

Well originally Freeze was a silver age supervillain called "Mister Zero". He was a small-time criminal mastermind who experimented with a cold solution and accidentally spilled it on himself, making him unable to live in warm temperatures. So he naturally constructed a cold gun and a suit to become a more flamboyant crook.

This was the version that for some reason was picked up to star in the 1966 Adam West live-action TV show where he was played by several different actors. The fact he was on the TV show rescued him from being mostly forgotten like his contemporaries the Signalman, Killer Moth, Doctor Double X and others and kept him appearing in the bronze age though he was increasingly obscure and underused. Finally in the late 1980s after years of neglect he was unceremoniously killed off by the Joker in one of Tim Drake's minis and that was that until he was totally recreated for TAS (which happened because Timm and Dini remembered his live-action appearances where the actor would grow wistful about not being able to experience warmth, something that was used in Heart of Ice).

Harley didn't kill Freeze, he could have sacrificed one of his henchmen or literally any other human being. He chose to sacrifice himself.

It wasn't Wayne's decision (in the cartoon), it was some underling, and later Wayne funded the cure for Freeze's wife.

Wouldn't she just be angry at Harley, though? She will probably have a vendetta against follow her around, but stop at something trivial during the scuffle like a kid getting a scraped knee or an old lady asking for help and would be amicable with both villains and heroes alike.

In New 52 he did it, but I always felt it was poorly written for that part
