For those who don't know, Down the Rabbit Hole is a Youtube documentary series that covers obscure but interesting topics, including ones about infamous from the Internet.
Why would a guy with 719K subscribers have to post his own videos on Yas Forums?
Carson Wright
shmorky would be kino. emily youcis i feel would be a lot shorter, but still good. they're both trainwrecks. funny they both had their origins as humble flash animators. at least that's how i remember them.
Grayson Bell
Shmorky and Emily are basically mirror opposites, basically going to the farthest sides of the political spectrum (Shmorky=Left, Emily=Right)
Cameron Morgan
I thought Shmorky already had his own DTRH episode...
Noah Miller
Nah, I think Emily is really interesting. It isn't just the animation.
She was the lead singer in a band that also had the current guitarist for the world famous metal band Baroness (Gina Gleason).
And of course all the Pistachio Girl stuff. She was basically a local hero in Philly.
And the fact that she was working for Lloyd Kaufmann of Troma Entertainment (And that Kaufmann is Jewish). She's just a weird personality.
Julian Cook
Nah, I don't think Mister Metokur even made a video on him.
Brody Nelson
Too bad about that dogfucking thing, though.
Sebastian Rivera
Wait, are you talking about the infamous Furry convention video she made or did she actually fuck a dog (Cause thats news for me).
Luis Moore
After Alfred blew up and she had to maintain the attention for the money, she allegedly jacked off a dog while talking about animating Alfred. This was before she started moving with the alt-righters.
Easton Parker
Where did you hear about this?
I’m genuinely curious, I read Emily’s KiwiFarms thread after rewatching Alfred’s Playhouse for the first time in years and find her whole story fascinating.
Isaac Rogers
I do remember some sort of doc about Shmorky
Owen Garcia
look here, LOOK, LISTEN! advertising your channel only takes 30 seconds so i wouldnt be surprised if freddy both lurked and shills
Charles Ortiz
Come back when this is animated. Till then
James Barnes
>Has nearly a million subscribers >Needs to shill his videos on not super popular Yas Forums board.
Jayden Diaz
It is about two animators who were well known on the Internet.
Benjamin Cook
>t. Fred
Mason Gonzalez
>I wish I was as creative as Fred. Nigga all he does is regurgitate internet drama that's decades old or retell semi-obscure IRL drama. He's just a drama channel. It doesn't take creativity to repackage shit other people have recorded and researched prior to you.
Carter Russell
The video doesn't even exist yet.
Zachary Myers
>Second video >Nick Nocturne Thats a name I haven't heard of in a while, maybe because his videos stopped being about actual overviews and more about bullshit theories about projects that are mediocre at best.
Logan Flores
But it might, so I thought Yas Forums should get a heads up cause I thought they’d be interested in it.
Idk, man his latest video was something pre-Internet that was only known in mainland Europe I thought it was interesting and was glad to know about it.
Cameron Ortiz
>RCR RegularCarReviews?
Liam Ward
I can't be the only one who noticed a massive drop in quality when he came out he was a furry, right? It happened around the same time
Joseph Mitchell
Metokur tried to interview Lowtax regarding the whole Shmorky fiasco, but it fell through apparently.
Ayden Ross
I'm not saying the content isn't interesting, but frankly Fred is the least interesting thing about his channel. he's a boring hipster whose only value comes from being autistic enough to retell trivial drama nobody else is autistic enough to care about. Also, this isn't even Yas Forums related. Come back when the fucking video actually drops.
Josiah Brooks
You're thinking of the Mad At the Internet episode about himm I think some Metokur footage was used in it.
Liam Taylor
Yeah, problem with is chosen topic is that there's not a hell of a lot to cover, and what there is that's any decent, takes a hell of a long time to update.
Dominic Torres
The Kutztown Dragon, yes
Aiden Parker
Holy shit, im ready Dtr has been slow on his uploads, I've been waitin, no rush
Evan Wilson
We honestly need a board for internet stuff to be talked about, this doesn't really belong on Yas Forums but I still want to talk about it. Call it /am/- alternative media and we can even bring radio into the mix.
Xavier Martinez
Nah, most of his videos are hit or miss and a lot of the supposed "quality" depends on whether or not you're already familiar with the subject matter. Like, the Chris Chan vid. That one is fucking awful, especially compared to a lot of other people that have covered Chris. His narrative on the whole deal is disingenuous as well, portraying trolls that actively misguide or fuck with Chris in increasingly harassing ways as "simple teasing". His video on the NIMH mouse experiments is adequate simply because he's reading the fucking wikipedia page off basically word for word, same with the collyer brothers. Then you get the Purr Cat cafe vid that... like, why the fuck did he even bother? Who the fuck cares about some retarded facebook drama? I know he basically only touches topics he's personally interested in (the hurdy gurdy bullshit) or will boost his channel numbers (chris chan) but again, the dude doesn't have a high bar of quality since he just condenses and regurgitates shit from elsewhere.
Luis Long
His latest one was about the Austrian wine controversy
Kayden Howard
Isn't this the guy who did a video with DeadwingDork?
Brandon Williams
/trash/, Yas Forums, Yas Forums. >b-b-but I dun wanna go to those boards Too bad, unless you get hiroshimoot to create /incel/- internet celebrities, nobody wants to talk about shitty internet drama either.
John Collins
I'd love to know more about Youcis. She was not only famous as a lolcow animator but she tried to be a part of the Hardcore Punk scene in Pittsburgh and got laughed out by everyone there too. I had footage of one of her shows at one point but I think it's been lost to time. It sucked.
Kevin Adams
Idk, it feels like Yas Forums (and maybe Yas Forums) would know who Emily and Shmorky are.
If they did a general Internet drama board I think that the only stuff that would be talked about is big time Youtube drama like the whole recent Idubbz gf drama.
Emily and Shmorky are really only well known in the Internet animation community (And Emily in the alt-right).
Brody Gonzalez
The FF7 House was a fun one to revisit, but he basically just read the website in that one too.
Also his vid on Terry wasn't as good as Jim's vid on him
Samuel Stewart
Are you sure? It seems to me her band Emily Pukis & the Vagrants were big in the Philly Hardcore scene for a bit. Like I’ve seen videos and everyone seems to be in them and have decent crowds.
Like I said before, they had Gina Gleason who is now in Baroness as a part of the band.
Matthew Bell
>/trash/, Yas Forums, Yas Forums. I kinda love this argument because with this logic we could get devalue any board and just say post in one of those three spots >/incel/ We already have Yas Forums silly. >nobody wants to talk about shitty internet drama either. Then why do retards on Yas Forums and other boards have constant thread on it that often reach bump limit.
Asher Gray
nigga why the fuck do you act like I didn't already watch it it seems fine, but again- nobody else on the other side of the pond has really covered something as trite as a fucking european wine scandal so we can't truly judge the quality of fred's coverage of it past "well it SOUNDS good". Because we have nothing to compare it to, and narrating in a confident tone spliced in with some news footage sells you subconsciously on the idea of "objectivity" really easily. Fred knows how to cultivate an image, at the very least.
Dylan Baker
I lost interest in his videos when he became more interested in promoting amateurish stuff based on the premise of promoting creativity, rather than actually giving his honest opinion. He promoted the FUCK out of that completely garbage Catghost series that was blatantly ripping off shit from Petscop. Also, maybe it's cause I don't have full context, but I really don't understand what his disappointment with Bear Stearns Bravo in his Synydyne video was all about. He kept saying what a bummer it was while simultaneously showing off what looked to be a pretty interesting project.
Mason Thompson
Lowtax and the something awful crew are awful crybabies so its no surprise. RCR is unironically a terrible fucking channel and an awful person.
Mason Scott
Never mind, found something similar to it. The video I'm thinking of was taken by the lead singer of Wrong Answer and was somehow worse than this.
