We all know DoA was never close to perfect, but it at least used to be comfy college bs.

Fuck this arc, hope it ends soon.

>hope it ends soon
Willis said it'll continue until June 23

This is awful. This whole thing

Willis continues to lack common sense for physics, I see.

Ugh. Cringefest2020 goes on strong, then.

I remember when the trans girl is being an obnoxious shit with rollerblades in the hallways and bothering a girl trying to study, so the girl tried to take her to the men's dorm, where the RA came down on the girl's ass for trying to get rid of the trans girl. When the girl tells the RA off, the title is "The Day Evil Won"

I am so sick of this "Being LGBT means you can get away with anything because you're QUUUUUIRKY!" shit.

And then they all got beat to death because it's 3 small women with a bat vs 5 or more armed men

I can't believe this comic gave me an existential crisis

China?

>armed men
pretty sure the only weapon they had was the bat

>guy brings bat down full force
>amber "catches" it by putting her palm and wrist at the point of impact
Congrats, you shattered your wrist into a thousand pieces and likely dislocated your arm

She's a full blown superhero now

Why do you people keep doing this to yourselves?

Because we've lost control of our lives

Catharsis. Willis has made himself so incredibly unlikeable. His fans still fall over him like he's brought down the Ten Commandments. They think he understands them. But he himself stated that his only college experience was hiding in his dorm room for a year, then getting kicked out.

He's 40 and a parent of twins. He's white, cisgender, and heterosexual.

He has no points of authority for these situations, and yet, his word is gospel.

I used to spend a lot of time reading his comics. And he should be ashamed of how much he has abandoned in favor of making stuff up for brownie points.

I like having literary fodder to prey on. I love over-analyzing stuff. This is fun for me. I like deconstructing his terrible story, his stereotypical characters, and his general attitude that oozes into every word of his comics.

I like having a place where it's not out of the ordinary to diss and analyze stuff that interests me. Everyone on Yas Forums is over-the-top with their opinions, so I fit right in. Yeah, I'm weird, but at least I'm in equally weird company.

Wait, how does that work?
She catches the bat with one hand, so he let go?

So are you just going to post Funky every thread in the same way Dewd used to post his comic?

Not going to lie, I'd be down for that.

Maybe from time to time. I just find it hilarious because of how much Willis dislikes Funky.

Reminder that this is all somehow an elaborate attempt to get Amber to drop out of school. Which raises some interesting issues. If Blaine has enough connections and influence to get Mike whacked while he's in the hospital, then why can't get he get one of his corrupt cop buddies to simply plant some drugs on Amber? Hell, we're talking about a setting where Ruth can keep her job despite having a clandestine relationship with one of her charges, being found in a suicidal alcoholic stupor, and freely admitting to physically abusing the people under her care all because her grandpa had a chat with the resident manager. Blaine could have just headed down to admissions, flashed his pearly whites, and probably have gotten them to expel Amber by asking nicely.

Blaine switches position between panels 3 and 5 from in front of Amber to behind her. Dina has also shifted position from where she was last strip.

I only partially follow this comic from these threads so maybe I missed an explanation, but did they ever give a reason why they aren't calling the police? If the police are corrupt, why doesn't Evil Dad #1 hire them as muscle instead of Evil Dad #2 and some frat boys?

I kind of remember them saying something about a hostage elsewhere, but if Evil Dad #1 is able to command enough respect that his goons will murder someone on his order, then he could probably get better help than frat boys.

The only concrete explanation I remember them giving is the kids are afraid the cops will go into a berserker rage at the sight of a black teenager.

Allegedly, he did, or at least paid them to not care about it. He's also got some kind of Irish mafia connections that haven't been adequately explained.

And that's basically it, other than what you said about black teenagers.

>Evil Dad
>Evil Dad 2
>Army of Dorkness
>Amber vs the Evil Dads

>Reminder that this is all somehow an elaborate attempt to get Amber to drop out of school
Why can’t he just kill Amber? Why couldn’t he have one of his frat boy minions run her over and then said minion would get off scot free because white male privilege? I’m not being sarcastic, I’m seriously asking what is the in-story reason why Blaine is not just trying to murder Amber herself. I know IRL hardcore mafiosos tend to balk at the idea of killing family members (especially their own children) but Blaine is stupidly evil and doesn’t give a fuck about Amber. As far as he’s concerned, she is a worthless fat ass who accomplishes nothing but being a drain on him. So why not kill her?

It's amazing that Willis plays this whole thing completely straight. How the fuck can ANYONE take this seriously?

Because then he'd go to jail!

>while he shoves away the growing pile of evidence that he very much should be in jail

oh shit you guys im gonna whup!
*actually whups*

hahahahahaha!

>no one brought a gun
Weak.

Was it to much to ask for Blaine to just take each of them one by one and drown them in the bathtub?
