well they aren't many word based properties that attract lots of artists. online artists like to draw recognizable characters since that's what gives them clicks and they are addicted to e dopamine which is why they lose their shit when any one posts there work with out sourcing them.

I think if you had canon versions of what the characters looked like you'd see a lot more. You basically have to design any character for Worm fanart because of that, sure you have "Average looking tan girl with dark curly hair" and the general description of the costume, but I don't think most artists who draw for fun are leaping at that, and since it's prose rather than a comic I think fewer of the fans are artists themselves.
100% is. Honestly if he wanted to explore that arc he should have made Amy the main character, she's 10000x more interesting than and her standing in the universe makes for a better plot too

Victoria is equally unlikeable, if page to page not moreso. Amy's unlikeable on moral grounds, rapist and mindrapist, but she's a sympathetic monster at this point and her powers will always lend to a more compelling story than even the wretch subplot WB was constantly dragging his feet on. He also brutally fucked up the teacher raid, we saw none of the heavy hitters in action, something he always made sure we did see in Worm, because he knew the appeal of badass capes fighting big time threats.
