Whatever happened to Green Arrow's son Connor Hawke?
ITT: Forgotten Characters
Writers stopped using him because they realized he's incredibly boring.
Whatever happened to Green Arrow's arch-enemy, Bull's-Eye?
>Black-Korean
>with blond hair
I can never get over that.
Less "forgotten" and more, "really, really obscure."
It's probably best he stayed that way though...
Yeah his ethnicity just doesn’t make sense. He has dark skin but white guy hair.
Wait he’s Korean? The fuck. I thought he was native.
Colin Wilkes, alias Abuse, a friend of Damian that just didn't come back after Flashpoint afaik.
Comic book logic.
Imagine replacing a Chad like Ollie with a Volcel.
No wonder they got rid of him.
I was surprised at how good the movie was.
New 52 fucked him hard. I doubt he will ever come back, it's all about Emiko now
Wasn't he hinted to be gay?
Ollie's blonde hair genes asserted their dominance.
No, everyone assumed he was gay because he simply didn't give a shit about women.
>dc legacy character
the same thing that happened to all of their legacy characters
Koryak, Aquaman's son he had with an Inuit woman who died not once but TWICE. He was killed with half of Aquaman's allies by The Spectre during the Infinite Crisis and has never since mentioned again.
Zatanna does pretty well
funny since Connor is gay in Arrowverse
They'll probably carry over that to the comics if he ever comes back.
He was barely used in the 00's.
Green Arrow was such a ripoff of Batman he even had his own Joker archnemesis.
Somehow I'm not sad he's forgotten.
I miss them but it was clear they were never going to leave the books. It's not a bad thing though.
New 52 fucked everyone.
He became irrelevant the moment Ollie came back from the dead. Because he never was THAT popular to have traction to stick around the way Kyle was. Or any other 90s replacement character.
No, Dixon wanted him to be asexual and spiritual and someone who doesn't really get the whole being infatuated with women thing, which was meant to be a joke him being a polar opposite of Ollie in that regard, but because Dixon is a conservative writer who has issues with things like depicting homosexuality in comics it just come off Connor being gay, which then made Dixon repeatedly try to deny that he was gay by hooking him with girls briefly, which hilariously just made Connor seem all the more gayer.
Because Zatara hasn't been used in any meaningful way for decades, besides being dead. Zatara has no relevance when Zatanna has carved a comfortable place in the Justice League. That's actually why it was interesting to see in Young Justice for Zatara be part of the league
The artists they pick for the latest comics don't hold a candle to Dave. And mores the pity. I would love it if there was an actual effort to put in a decent story with a good artist for a proper revival. But the social climate is shit these days, so I'm not going to hold my breath and instead pray that if something does happen, it's when the pendulum has swung.
>No, Dixon wanted him to be asexual and spiritual
Imagine the uproar if they depicted him as asexual now.
Arthur is always moping about Arthur Jr. but no he nevers seems sad about him, it's like he's been erased from continuity
I would even wager that most comic fans don't even realize she IS a legacy. It does come up occasionally, particularly in her more Vertigo-ish comics, but for the most part Zatanna stands on her own.
I quiver at the memory.
They invested so much into building Gravity up and then just dropped him after Dark Reign.
You're missing the point.
Literally came in to post this dude.
